I opened my eyes.

'Ah, what time is it?'

I got up and brushed my teeth.

I flinched and quickly ran away.

The gate completely opened and monsters swarmed out.

They were Orcs.

"Ah!"

An orc was in front of me and I quickly tried to defend myself.

'I'm gonna die!'

As the orc swung its club someone got in between us.

*Bam!*

They blocked the orc with a shield and looked at me while yelling.

"You son of a gun! Get up now if you don't want to die! We're in a gate!"

'Ah, yeah I lost my composure.'

I gripped my sword and ran towards an orc.

*Swish!*

Its club was cut as if it was tofu.

"Next is your head!"

'Slash.'

*Swish!*

I cleanly cut the orc's head off and looked behind me.

"I got it-"

I flinched and quickly took a stance.

'That's the boss monster!'

It was an orc with something that looked like runes on his body.

"Kiek!"

A man holding a spear complained seemingly annoyed.

A woman holding a sword quickly charged at the orc.

A man with a staff sighed and some magic circles started circling around him.

Their ridiculous reaction lightened the mood enough for fear to be removed.

'Yeah, you guys are psychos, but good going!'

"Good job!"

I ran towards the orc.

Then I swung my sword.

'Huh?'

I was sitting on the orc corpse confused.

"Who's that?"

There was a hooded person standing behind all the party members.

"Haha- huh? What do you mean?"

The man holding a spear looked confused.

"Uh, I think you're worrying about something unnecessary."

A woman with clear yellow eyes said.

Subtly avoiding her gaze I asked.

"Huh, then who's that?"

I pointed towards the person.

Everyone turned around to look at the person.

"Ah-"

He was gone.

"Found you."

"Ah!"

I opened my eyes in panic and quickly surveyed my surroundings.

'A dream...'

"Haah."

Right now I was in a guest room of one of the town's residence.

Inside I stared at my inventory quietly. To be more specific I stared at an item.

Description: Shards of a mythical sword that was purified through a dragon's breath, enchanted by elves and shaped by dwarves made for one person. Now it can be used as material to create a new weapon.

'What do I do with this?'

I thought about sending these shards to the goddess but I didn't know if that was the right choice.

It was stupid of me to continue using the sword after it broke.

And something that was making me nervous was that someone was standing in the corner of the room.

I sighed, got up and looked at the corner of the room.

'What is he? Is he a constellation?'

There stood a white haired man with his arms crossed.

"Are you a constellation?"

I decided to just ask. No need to beat around the bush.

He seemed to realize something and coughed lightly.

Something changed when he talked again.

The man's expression changed to one of surprise after I asked that.

The man sighed and requested something.

'His voice is weird again.'

There wasn't a significant vocal difference but something else.

"Uh, you won't kill me right?"

He shook his head.

'Now that I think about it he probably could've killed or tortured me easily if he wanted to. Unless he's following someone's orders.'

I sighed lightly and pulled up my slots.

Fince sighed to himself and wrote something down on a piece of paper.

A system window appeared and he disappeared shortly after.

I looked around and sighed.

"Huff, yeah, I just threw up some blood and fainted. Why did that happen though? Who in the world is Fince-?"

After saying his name I felt like I would throw up.

I saw a piece of paper and checked it while holding my stomach.

'I finally found something!'

A man with a big build, yellow hair and red eyes looked at something excited.

"I finally found a proper clue! Those insane psychos!"

It was Alius.

And next to him someone sighed.

"I get it that you're excited and all but. You've only found a trace and definitely no solid evidence."

She was a guide and baggage carrier.

"Ugh, just let me have this. I've gotten like no sleep over the past two days!"

"Yup, I got it. Alright, should we report this to the guild?"

Alius shook his head calmly.

"No, they probably have insiders everywhere."

The guide sighed again and pulled out a map.

"Huh, it seems relatively close to the forest of wishes."

Alius looked at the map as well and his eyes widened.

"Ah, I know a friend that is relatively close. I guess we'll meet soon."

Alius grinned and pulled up a system window.

"Ah, there he goes again. You're the real psycho."

The guide sighed not seeing the system window.
