Chapter 201: The Four Ancient Keys

Chapter 201: The Four Ancient Keys

After leaving seclusion, Lin Langtian wasted no time. He gathered his people and prepared to head to the location where the hidden ancient treasure would be revealed—the Hall of Antiquity.

The Hall of Antiquity was some distance from Yang City, so Lin Langtian's group set out early. Along the way, the formidable presence of the Flame Alliance attracted attention, and when people heard their name, they reacted with respect and awe. It was clear that the Flame Alliance's defeat of the Mo Rock Dynasty and their success in driving back Tian Zhen had earned them a powerful reputation in the northwestern region.

Thus, the journey proceeded smoothly.

On the fourth day, Lin Langtian and his group finally arrived at the most popular location within the ancient land—the Hall of Antiquity. Despite being called a "hall," what stood before them was actually a vast and sprawling city.

This was where the ancient treasure would be unlocked, attracting nearly every dynasty from the northwestern region.

"The allure of this ancient treasure is truly something…" Lin Langtian murmured as he stood atop a mountain, looking down at the sea of people below.

The city before him was grand and majestic, far larger than Yang City, and it appeared almost overcrowded. Even in the outer areas, in the surrounding mountains and forests, powerful presences could be felt everywhere, clearly demonstrating that the sheer volume of people was pushing the area to its limit.

Behind Lin Langtian stood Mo Ying, who maintained his usual cold and indifferent demeanor, paying little attention to others. The members of the Flame Alliance weren't bothered by this aloofness, however. Ever since his battle with Tian Zhen, everyone in the Flame Alliance understood that Mo Ying was the Alliance's most hidden powerhouse. His aura had only grown stronger and more profound in recent days.

Over the past month, while Lin Langtian had been in secluded training, Mo Ying had also been cultivating diligently within a small world inside the Mirror of Origins. Thanks to his previous transformation by demonic energy, his body was able to absorb this foreign demonic energy as fuel. Now that he possessed intelligence, Mo Ying could actively absorb the immense energy of the mirror's world, increasing his strength dramatically.

In just one short month, Mo Ying had advanced substantially, his aura now approaching the peak of the second Nirvana Realm, only a step away from the third Nirvana Realm. If he were to face Tian Zhen again, he would surely have the upper hand.

Seeing this, Lin Langtian couldn't help but marvel at the powerful entity he'd created.

"It doesn't look like Lin Dong is here yet. In that case, let's enter the city first."

After taking a moment, Lin Langtian scanned the area and, not seeing any sign of Lin Dong, descended from the mountain toward the expansive Hall of Antiquity. If things went as expected, Lin Dong would arrive at the Hall of Antiquity soon enough.

Behind him, Mo Ying, Mo Ling, and others nodded and followed closely.

The Hall of Antiquity was enormous, with a total of eight gates, but even so, the crowds were massive. The imposing presence of the Flame Alliance's entourage attracted attention, and when people saw Lin Langtian, dressed in his usual blue robe, they recognized him immediately, stepping aside to create a path for the Alliance.

After the renowned battle in Yang City, Lin Langtian had earned the reputation of an untouchable figure in the northwest, and his portrait was widely known.

"It's Lin Langtian of the Flame Alliance—they've arrived. This is the powerful faction that holds one of the ancient keys and even brought down the Mo Rock Dynasty."

"Yes, I heard the Flame Alliance was established just a few months ago, yet they've achieved such terrifying success. Now that they're here, all four ancient keys have gathered, and the ancient treasure can be unlocked."

As Lin Langtian and his group entered the city, the whispers of onlookers reached his ears. Raising an eyebrow, he realized that the holders of the other three keys had already arrived.

"Senior Brother, according to our information, the other three ancient keys are held by the Wild Dynasty, the Youquan Dynasty, and the Great Wei Dynasty," Mo Ling said softly to Lin Langtian.

Lin Langtian nodded, having heard of these dynasties, each on par with the Mo Rock Dynasty. However, none of them posed any real threat to the Flame Alliance. He also understood that these dynasties were only forerunners; the true threats would come from the four regional overlords and other powerful figures from afar.

With that thought, Lin Langtian continued forward, heading toward the source of the aura where the other three ancient keys lay.

...

The Hall of Antiquity city was incredibly grand and majestic. Wide streets teemed with people, and the noise of chatter and activity filled the air, spreading far and wide.

Lin Langtian and the members of the Flame Alliance entered the city and, without stopping, made their way toward the city's center. In the heart of the city stood a towering palace, the most striking structure in the area, providing a commanding view of the city.

Within this grand palace was an immense golden hall, vast like a plaza, filled with numerous figures, each with a powerful aura, clearly not ordinary individuals. Only dynasties and warriors renowned across the northwestern region had the privilege to be seated here, a testament to their power.

In the main section of the hall, three individuals sat in chairs, emanating formidable energies. On the left sat a shirtless man covered in tattoos, his presence like a primordial beast, his gaze intimidating. He was Hong Zong, leader of the Wild Dynasty.

On the right was a woman in a dark purple dress, with a cool expression and long, jet-black hair. Her graceful figure added an elegant charm to the hall. She was You Qian, leader of the Youquan Dynasty.

The man sitting on the far right looked slightly pale but was exceptionally handsome. Despite his sickly appearance, his aura was in no way weaker than that of the others. He was Prince Cao Zhi of the Great Wei Dynasty.

"Our fourth key holder has finally arrived," one of the three remarked, their eyes opening and fixing on the main entrance to the hall.

They were waiting for the last ancient key to arrive: the Flame Alliance.
