Chapter 41: Return

Li Fei put on her shoes and packed a few things into a small backpack before she and Wei Tianyang exited the villa through a side door.

Seeing the shattered corpse on the ground, even the battle-hardened Li Fei could not help but frown in disgust.

"Let's drive out, there shouldn't be any blood on the car," Wei Tianyang said as he pulled open the car door and checked the seats.

Li Fei found the bodies of two staff members, and without a word, she tore off their overalls.

"Put this on, it might buy us some time at the gate," she said as she put on the garment herself before handing the other one to Wei Tianyang.

The back of the jacket was heavily stained with blood, having soaked in it when the body fell, but fortunately, it was night, and they would be sitting in the car, which should make it less noticeable.

After Li Fei had dressed, she picked up a rifle, checked it, and then tossed it into the driver's seat.
