No sooner had his voice faded than all the lights in the room went out.

Li Fei turned her head to glance at the laptop screen on the desk, where the small windows displaying multiple surveillance feeds had all turned black.

She picked up the handgun from the desk and followed the commander downstairs.

They had only just descended the staircase when a violent crash echoed from the hall!

The commander quickly shielded Li Fei behind him but was pushed away by her.

As Li Fei walked down the stairs, she saw a small helicopter laying on its side, crashed into the living room, the soldier in the pilot's seat motionless, and the propeller, as if in jest, twisted into the shape of a bow knot.
