Extra 1.1: The Mind-Reading Esper
(These extras chapters doesn't really matter to the main story, but you can see it as an omake for Tomori Nao)
(Oh and while it doesnt really matter, but there might be some references in the main story taken from these omakes.)

"Ability... Mind reading..."
Hakuto frowned slightly as he watched the back of the assistant walking away.
"Hmm~ A superpower commonly seen in TV dramas."
"Reading people's minds, huh..."
"Let me take a look... Huh? What kind of map is this?"
Hakuto looked at the damp spot on the map on the desk with a puzzled expression.
The maps from Japan were pretty bad—probably because the place was too small, so they didn't bother putting much effort into making them accurate.
The damp spot on the map was in an unnamed alleyway. Speaking of which... Do people really understand how to read maps?
"Move aside..." Nao directly pushed Hakuto's face away with her hand and then examined the map on her own.
"An alleyway, huh... Let's go!"
"Wait, wait, wait. How did you even understand that map?"
About half an hour later, Hakuto and the others arrived at the alleyway marked on the map.
And in this nameless alley, there was no one else except for a little girl wearing a knit hat.
"Huh? This girl looks about twelve years old..." Hakuto said as he looked at the little girl squatting on the stairs in the alley.
"Twelve years old is already adolescence, isn't it?"
"Well, that's true... but how do we confirm it? Should I just go up and ask, 'Hey, can you read minds?'"
Originally, Hakuto was just complaining, but to his surprise, Nao took it seriously. She clapped her hands together and said excitedly:
"Great idea!"
"Are you serious?"
"What? You think it won't work? Then why don't you use your ability to see what happened to her a few hours ago?"
"I'll just go ask."
As soon as he finished speaking, Hakuto walked toward the little girl. At the same time, he silently offered his condolences to Otosaka Yuu and the others.
Even though they were all espers, the latter had suffered through stalking, psychological and physical intimidation, and who knows how much torment.
Yet, the little girl in front of him clearly didn't have to endure such torment. This surprised Hakuto—had Nao, the violent maniac, actually turned over a new leaf?
But just as Hakuto was lost in thought, Nao suddenly lifted her leg and kicked him hard in the side.
"What the hell?!"
The sudden attack caught Hakuto completely off guard, and he took the hit directly to his side.
Even with his strong physical constitution, this was too much. The pain made him break out in a cold sweat.
"Hah... Hah... Are you crazy?! If you wanted revenge, couldn't you at least pick a better time?!"
Gasping for breath, Hakuto turned to Nao, questioning her angrily. He really hadn't expected her to strike so suddenly, leaving him no time to dodge.
Nao slowly lowered her leg and said, "Who are you calling a violent woman?"
"Huh? Are you hallucinating?"
Sometimes, Hakuto seriously thought that this crazy white-haired girl in front of him had some serious issues—major ones.
But just then, Yusa raised her hand timidly and said,
"Um... Just now, I really did hear Shiratori say that Nao was a violent woman."
"I heard it too," Jojiro adjusted his glasses and nodded in agreement.
"This is insane! Insane! Completely nuts!"
Hearing Yusa and Jojiro's words, Hakuto felt like the whole world had gone mad!
He had indeed been thinking that Nao was a violent woman, but that was just in his head! He hadn't said it out loud!
But at that moment, a voice in Nao's tone rang in everyone's ears.
[If I'm a violent woman, then what are you? An idiot delinquent?]
"Idiot? Delinquent?"
Hakuto was stunned when he heard those words, then turned his gaze to Nao with an unfriendly expression, as if he was about to tear her apart.
"Hey, hey? Did you all hear that?"
Nao instinctively looked at Yusa, trying to confirm.
"...I heard Nao say that Shiratori was an idiot delinquent..." Yusa confirmed.
Nao was surprised but quickly grasped what was happening.
"Hey! Does 'idiot' really suit someone like me, the top student of our grade? And delinquent?! I'm not even a delinquent!"
"Huh? Did I say anything wrong?"
"Shit! Tomori! Do you know how long I've been putting up with you?!"
"My last name is Tomori! What? You wanna fight?"
"Come on! I'll even let you use both hands! If anyone uses their ability, they're a dog!"
Watching the two about to fight, Yusa quickly stepped in to stop them.
"Don't fight... Aren't we all friends?"
Hakuto: [Go away, airheaded girl!]
"Air... air headed girl?"
Hearing those words, Yusa looked devastated, as if her soul had been sucked out of her body.
Seeing his idol being bullied, Jojiro couldn't stay silent. He stepped forward immediately.
"That was a bit much..."
Nao: [Musclehead, you go away too!]
Hearing Nao's inner voice, Jojiro's eyes twitched, but he didn't say anything. However, he definitely had thoughts of his own.
[Musclehead? If I'm a musclehead, then what are you? A Zhiend idiot? Always going on about Zhiend~ Zhiend~]
Hearing Jojiro insult her favorite band, Nao couldn't take it anymore. She completely abandoned her fight with Hakuto and shifted her attention to Jojiro.
"What's wrong with Zhiend?"
Nao's gaze was dangerously sharp, as if she was about to kill him with just her eyes.
"N-Nothing..."
But just then, the little girl squatting on the stairs in the alley suddenly turned toward them.
"As I thought! As long as I'm around, people always argue and fight! I should just disappear!"
Hearing the girl's anguished cry, Hakuto finally calmed down. He quickly grabbed the hands of the other three and led them away from the alley.
"Can you still hear my thoughts?" he asked.
"No..."
Hearing Yusa's confirmation, Hakuto nodded and voiced his conclusion.
"I think I get it... It's not just simple mind reading—it's more like granting everyone within a certain range the ability to read minds..."
