Two days later, I was already back in the LaRosa's mansion and I was in Vincenzo's study, looking over the reports as the family was trying to get everything back to normal after everything.

There was a knock on the door and Valentina poked her head inside, a small smile on her face which mirrored mine.

"You're back early" I pushed myself off the chair and smiled at her as she furrowed her brows in worry.

"You shouldn't be standing because of me. Sit down, Adriana. Master LaRosa would put a bullet through me if he saw you stressed because of me" She chided but I rolled my eyes.

I knew the risks attuned with stress now in my condition after several visits to the hospital every two hours courtesy of Micheal and Master LaRosa who behaved like I would die if I didn't see the doctor.
