Elyra tilted her head slightly, her gaze fixed on Thrain, who stood beside the dragon, his breathing labored but steady. "It's hard to say," she admitted, her voice calm yet thoughtful. "I've never seen anything quite like this. But there's no doubt something has changed. A bond has formed, something deeper than mere understanding." Her expression softened as she turned to Daelan. "Whatever it is, it's powerful. The dragon wouldn't have allowed this otherwise."
Daelan scoffed lightly, though there was no malice in his tone. "Great. So now he's bonded with a dragon and glowing like some divine chosen one. What's next? Is he going to sprout wings and start breathing fire?"
