Chapter 10. AIDEN WAS MURDERED BY CYPHER

Their horses got closer. Cypher hopped on

Nala's horse sat beside her, they smiled at each other. All of a sudden, the werewolf jumped in front of them, Cypher moved aside and fell off the carriage.

He gripped the wheel.

Nala was by the side of the carriage, she was hanging on the window, and the roof of the carriage was set on fire. John and Drew panicked.

John! Nala yelled at his name.

Oh my God! He stared at the window and saw her hanging on it. He opened the door to help her out. She was at the edge of the mountain. What are you doing outside? John asked.

John!

Right, right! Don't let go! He screamed.

"Ahh, ahh" he stretched to grip her back on the carriage. Cypher couldn't hold on any more under the carriage wheel.

John! John! He yelled, hitting the carriage for help. John turned around and was confused, he was still helping Nala out. Drew turned around,

I can help! He yelled.

You won't kill me! John said dryly.

Only if you don't hurry, Drew said and pulled out his chained hands.

John unlocked him, and he quickly rushed to save Cypher.

He stretched his hand to Cypher, but he stared at Drew and gripped his hand immediately. Drew threw him back on top of the carriage.

Drew sat back in the carriage, and so did John, and they stared at each other.

The werewolf hopped back on the carriage roof inside the burning fire and roared.

No! Drew yelled. John screamed, the werewolf dug his hand inside and opened the carriage roof. Inside, the carriage caught on fire, and Drew screamed, avoiding the flames.

Jump! Cypher yelled, Nala quickly jumped off, and Drew and John followed.

Cypher jumped off, turned around, and shot the werewolf. The carriage split into two and rolled over the hill.

Their horses ran separate ways.

It was early before the sun came up. Nala walked alone in the woods, heard a sound, and saw her brother Aiden. She quickly ran towards him.

Aiden! With tears in her eyes.

Nala, forgive me, he stammered and died instantly in her arms.

I will see you again! Nala said and kissed her brother on his forehead. She turned around and saw Cypher. She ran towards him.

You killed him! You killed him! She hits him on his chest.

Now you know why they call me a murderer. He said, holding his hand on his chest. She stared at his body and saw a big scratch Aiden gave him before dying. She opened his jacket.

Oh my God! You've been bitten.

She stepped backward away from him, and he groaned in pain.

Sarafina was behind her, staring at her as she moved back without looking into her until she slammed Nala into a rock. She collapsed, Sarafina gripped her with her claws and carried her, heading back to Greyge's layer.

Cypher heard a sound and ran quickly. Nala! He yelled, running to retrieve her from Sarafina, but it was already too late. Sarafina made a siren sound and laughed scarily as she carried Nala flying back to Greyge.

Nala, he said dryly and held his chest, John and Drew rushed out and saw them in the air.

They head back to Greyge's layer, and Sarafina appears in front of them, standing on an edge.

Cypher quickly pulls out his gun.

Tititititi… Sarafina waves the tip of her tongue and her finger.

So much trouble to my Master, so much trouble, she said.

What do you want? Cypher asked.

The Master commanded a trade, the Monster or the Princess, she said. Drew groaned and stared at her.

So why public? There were lots of people, a place where the monster would be less inclined to expose his other side, Cypher said, and Drew stared at him.

Tomorrow night is all house eve, which would be the best. There will be a masked ball. She turned around and flew up with a scary laugh. Drew got frightened.

Cypher shut his eyes due to the pain in his chest. John gripped him as he staggered. Are you okay? He asked. "Ahh..ahh."

Drew pushed Cypher and unveiled his chest. He's been bitten, bitten by a werewolf, now you will become that which you've hunted so passionately. Drew lifted his head.

"I am sorry." Cypher took out a tap-out stick to shoot Drew.

May others be as passionate and hunted as you. Drew said and Cypher shot him.

They got dressed up for the ball. Well, they won't find him here! Cypher said while stepping outside.

Are you sure this is some sort of sin? John asked.

Don't worry, God will forgive us, we need to save Nala, he checked the locked door. He tried lifting a big crucifix.

John! Help me! He yelled, John rushed and helped him out immediately.

How many costumes are we bringing? John asked. One or two Cypher responded.

Anyway, according to the books, you won't turn into a werewolf until the night of your first full moon. That's two nights from now.

Even then, you will get used to fighting Greyge's hold of you until the final stroke of midnight. John said as he ran and followed Cypher's lead as they walked away from the cemetery.

Sounds like I have nothing to worry about, Cypher said. Oh my God, you are terrified. He rushed in front of Cypher.

Thank you for caring, he said to John. Well, we still have forty-eight hours to find a solution. Are you sure he can't get out of there? John asked.

Not without some help from the dead. Cypher responded and put on a hat. John rushed and followed him.

A hand was pulled out of the coffin instantly.

The door opened, and the ballroom was crowded with so many people, wearing different costumes and different performances. Applause everywhere.

A girl was singing in an opera and a waltz was playing. Greyge wore a mask, he stretched his hand toward Nala, and she was wearing a mask as well.

They both danced together, he gripped her closely, pulled out his mask, and pulled hers. He brought his lips closer and kissed her forcefully. She regained consciousness and opened her eyes.

He bent her over, and she screamed. How does it feel to be a puppet of spring? He pulled her up in

force.

I won't let you trade me viscount, she said. I have no intention of trading with you, and if I know Cypher Helson, which I do, I am not ready to trade either.

He gripped her closely again as he danced forcefully with her. Neither of us had ever settled for half. He bent her over again with force, and she yelled a little.
