The King blinked at her, his paranoia sparking to life again like dry kindling touched by the slightest of flames. "Yes… yes, you're right. They must indeed be quite formidable if they've given Caspian trouble." He sat forward again, nodding to himself. "I must see for myself what has become of everything. I cannot rest until I do. Yes. Perhaps Caspian has ordered this one,"—he pointed at Aurelia— "to keep quiet."
Aurelia didn't flinch under the scrutiny, but her eyes narrowed almost imperceptibly as they flicked toward Lyanna. She seemed...annoyed at the turn of events, but not particularly worried.
Perhaps her words are true and there is nothing to worry about. Either way, it's best I go see for myself.
