281: Primordial Titan

Orson furrowed his brows, hesitating to jump to conclusions. The Heaven Demons came in countless forms, and just because these creatures resembled them didn't necessarily mean they were connected. It wasn't enough evidence.

For now, the swarm of corpse insects didn't seem particularly interested in him. They were still following the programmed cycle of the Monster Siege Event, continuously pouring out from the rift in waves.

However, the Level 50 Lord-Class Bosses reacted differently. The moment they noticed his presence, they did something highly unusual—they fled. Instead of engaging in battle like mindless monsters, they scurried deep into their insect tunnels and refused to emerge.

That… was strange.

These boss monsters weren't just acting on instinct. They showed intelligence, even more than standard boss-level enemies.

Typically, elite bosses attacked players on sight without hesitation. They never retreated of their own accord.
