148. The Secret Of Konoha Taijutsu

"It looks like I'm being disliked!"

Faced with Sasuke's enthusiasm, Kakashi poured cold water on him without hesitation and walked in with his usual one-eyed look.

"Your instructor, Jōnin, is Kakashi-sensei, but Sasuke, I will provide you with some help in your practice. If you have any questions, you can come to me."

Yagami smiled slightly and said, "Children in the ninja world are relatively precocious. They do not have the influence of the spiritual opium of the Will of Fire, and they do not have the experience of their family being destroyed."

Sasuke's thinking is obviously not the same as that of his brother, Itachi.

There are some things he knows he wants, and he also knows where to go to get them.

Kakashi's strength in Konoha is not weak, and he is good at Lightning Release ninjutsu, which is indeed suitable for Sasuke. However, there are some things that Kakashi cannot teach him, even if Kakashi once had a Sharingan.

"Is that so? That's not bad... What about today?"

Sasuke was obviously unhappy when he learned that his mentor, Jōnin, was not Yagami, but he could accept the guidance of senior Yagami, so he didn't have any major objections.

"Today is the day when you, Team 7, meet for the first time. I won't disturb you. You can follow Kakashi and get familiar with your companions."

Yagami looked at the three little ones. The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke was obviously better than that of ordinary companions. There was no need to worry about these two.

The key was Haruno Sakura. He didn't like this character very much and didn't want to admit that there might be such a woman in the Uchiha family in the future.

But there was no rush now. Since the Uchiha clan had not been destroyed and many plots from the original work had collapsed, it was better to see how the Sage of Six Paths would bring back the plot.

After meeting Sasuke, Yagami went to the Hyūga clan to conduct diplomacy, while Kakashi led the newly formed Team 7 to start a game of grabbing the bell.

Kakashi treated Naruto and Sasuke with great seriousness.

There was no other choice; these two Genin were so strong that the academy's Chūnin instructors couldn't even defeat one of them in a one-on-one match.

Especially with the kind of power Uchiha Sasuke and his Three Tomoe Sharingan possessed—Kakashi himself understood this well.

He, as an outsider, had managed to raise his strength to a certain height with just a Three Tomoe Sharingan. Let alone Sasuke, who had Uchiha blood and possessed his own pair of Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Kakashi felt that if he didn't take this seriously, he might suffer a significant loss.

Naruto had been studying with Jiraiya for quite some time and was quite proficient in the use of multiple Shadow Clones. Moreover, he developed many powerful Taijutsu techniques based on this ability. Kakashi had carefully reviewed the information on Naruto's progress.

Among the three-person team, Sakura was considered a normal person... Wait, no, she seemed to be a bit weaker than the average Genin.

As the fight for the bells began, Naruto and Sasuke's performances also confirmed Kakashi's thoughts. Naruto and Sasuke kept him on his toes throughout the entire exercise.

"Sharingan: Illusion!"

Kakashi grabbed Sasuke by the neck, but before he could make any further moves, Sasuke turned into Naruto with a puff of smoke.

Sasuke then used the Transformation Technique to dispel the smoke and reappeared in front of Kakashi, two scarlet Sharingan spinning as they faced Kakashi's single visible eye.

After all, he was trained by Yagami. Although Yagami himself wasn't particularly skilled in illusions, the Uchiha clan's most basic fighting method utilized Sharingan's illusion capabilities.

Not being proficient in illusions didn't mean that Yagami couldn't teach Sasuke its fundamentals. While their fighting styles were primarily direct and aggressive, illusions were not something that could be ignored.

As Kakashi appeared immobilized by the Sharingan's illusion, over a dozen Narutos dashed forward, fists clenched, ready to pummel him.

Grabbing a bell? Who cared about that?

Neither Naruto nor Sasuke paid any attention to Kakashi's stated rules. Their only goal was to defeat Kakashi outright.

Though there had been no prior discussion, the two operated with a seamless, wordless understanding of each other's intentions, conveyed with just a glance.

Just as Naruto's punch made contact with Kakashi, a burst of smoke appeared, and Kakashi was replaced by a piece of wood.

"Body Replacement Technique? As expected of an Elite Jōnin—he evaded even my Sharingan!"

Sasuke frowned, clearly dissatisfied with the result.

Meanwhile, Kakashi, who had already escaped, stood behind a tree, trembling slightly.

Wow, these are Genin fresh out of school? What a joke!

If I wasn't as strong as I am, I'd have just been turned into their personal training dummy!

With strength like this, Kakashi couldn't believe that neither Naruto nor Sasuke had graduated early. Are the standards for early graduation that strict now? Back when I left school, I didn't have strength anywhere close to this!

Kakashi sighed inwardly and glanced at Sakura, who was still crouched motionless in the grass.

Well, at least only two of them are monsters. If all three were like this, it'd be embarrassing for me as a Jōnin sensei!

Through the earlier coordinated assault from Naruto and Sasuke, Kakashi had already gauged their abilities. Individually, while their strength was significant, it didn't make him feel truly threatened as a Jōnin.

What concerned him more was their synergy. Their teamwork was almost frighteningly strong—not simply one plus one equals two, but a seamless combination where they complemented each other's actions without any verbal communication.

"Kakashi-sensei! Are you distracted?"

Naruto's voice suddenly rang out from behind him, making Kakashi break into a cold sweat.

"Secrets of Konoha: Taijutsu Secrets: No Diarrhea for a Thousand Years!"

Before Kakashi could react, Naruto had already formed the Tiger Seal and sprinted towards him with alarming speed.

"Tsk! Good tea! The Hyūga clan leader seems to be doing quite well recently—he even looks a bit younger!"

From within the Hyūga compound, Yagami and Hyūga Hiashi sat across from each other. Though Yagami had little understanding of the tea ceremony, he still offered his compliments generously.

"When there is nothing weighing on your mind, you naturally feel more at ease. But this kind of relaxation isn't something meant for someone your age."

Hiashi responded calmly. With the Third Hokage and the village leadership busy addressing various issues, they had no time to meddle with the Hyūga clan. Life had indeed been peaceful for Hiashi.

"True enough. Still, with our clan head busy with affairs, it falls on me to handle family matters and maintain these inter-clan relations."

Yagami sighed heavily. His original plan had been to serve as the leader of the Uchiha Group after its establishment, delegating responsibilities to the family elders.

Instead, he now found himself with no formal position but saddled with endless tasks. It's exhausting!
