Chapter 64: Not Part Of The Plan

When Bane opened his eyes, he was sitting on the surface of an endless expanse of water and a clear starry sky above him. Closing his eyes again, Bane processed what he knew for a few seconds and then opened his eyes again to look at the infinite expanse he had spent 50 years learning all the information... his father... had left behind for him.

Bane still wasn't sure about Aetherion. From the way Eve had explained things, Bane was a last resort, and Aetherion didn't even like him. Bane couldn't blame him, but it worried him about what his final goal was, and what that meant for him. It seemed that almost all Supreme One's have an uncontrollable thirst for power, and Bane didn't think Aetherion would be much different.
