Prince Nero's team had prepared thoroughly and set out. As they moved through the trees, they tried to stay as quiet as possible. "We probably have very little time before we're noticed," Sanev whispered.

"Why do you say that?" Elise whispered.

"We killed their men, they won't be able to hear from them," Sanev replied.

"Stay quiet and follow Mikhail, don't get lost," said Nero.

While everyone maintained their silence as they advanced, Elise approached Reizo and took his hand. She slowed Reizo down and made them separate from the group. After a while, there was no one ahead of them.

"What are you doing, Elise?" Reizo questioned, unable to make sense of her actions.

"I have something to tell you," said Elise.
