Randal signaled to the bandits around him and they all backed away. "We have important things to discuss," he said. The previous threatening tone in his voice had given way to a serious demeanor. "But first, let's clean up this chaos."

Randal raised his hand and one of his men immediately came to his side. "Remove the bodies and treat the wounded," he ordered. "Also, compensate the townspeople, I apologize for this disturbance." As the bandits quickly sprang into action, Randal turned his attention back to Jinsol and Rikimaru.

"Why should we talk to a psychopath who kills people for fun?" Rikimaru asked.

Randal chuckled lightly, his smile more genuine this time. "Sometimes I have to play a role," he said. "Actually, those men were my spies, they were watching the bandits who were trying to take over the town."
