After sharing a meal, Ivy was revitalized.
"Let's ride the roller coaster!" she exclaimed.
Kate replied, "Wasn't someone just in tears not long ago?"
"That was only because I wasn't prepared," Ivy defended herself. "That spinning ride made me dizzy. A roller coaster is different."
"Not afraid of heights anymore?" Kate teased.
Ivy suddenly leaned in close, her gaze unwavering as she locked eyes with Kate. "Because we're together. I love the feeling of flying with you."
They held each other's gaze for a few seconds before Kate reached out and gently wiped the corner of Ivy's mouth, revealing a stray grain of rice on her fingertip.
Embarrassed, Ivy quickly pulled out a tissue to wipe Kate's hand, hoping to prevent any aversion.
It seemed Kate wanted to say more but chose to remain silent.
Time flew in the amusement park, and by the time they boarded the roller coaster, a blush of pink painted the horizon.
