Ivy pressed her lips together, glancing between Kate and the photographer.
In the previous scene, she had nearly lost control, wanting to pin her mentor down. Now, with not a single staff member remaining and the atmosphere so... charged, she wasn't sure she could remain entirely composed and rational.
"I've seldom encountered two bodies so perfectly in sync. The last time was many, many years ago," the photographer mused, momentarily lost in memory. She paused for a considerable time. "Back then, those two were about your age—vibrant and full of life, like twin blossoms born for art."
