china?

Its been 5 months since i open my eyes in this world. My days has been blessed with wonderful moments with my child.... My son.

I sometime wonder who's body i took over. Did he had any family?

Who is this child's father?

But it doesn't matter now, I love this child and its mine now.

It hasn't been easy to feed him and clean him but he is so cute.

To win some money in this world i decided i would try make a private class where i could teach children letters and math.

I can't teach history or geography because i know nothing of this world but math is still the same.

I've seen like 10 kids in the village that are at the age to be attending class but their families are too poor to pay the fees .I think I could accept food ,eggs or anything else and a fee and the money that I have are enough for me and A Yuan . Im not getting rich but its enough for food for the two of us.

Maybe  i could look for a job in the village since AYuan is growing bigger day by day and we will need more things.

I could act as a translator there since i heard from Bohai that many foreign people are coming to trade  but its difficult to understand what they are saying.

I am a modern man so i understand french and english as well. If the foreigners speak this languages, i could help people sell their products more easy if i translate for them.

Today its a beautiful day, the trees are blooming and the fresh green grass is wet with dew.

The spring is more warm at the sea side. I told Bohai that i want to come in the village to search for a material to make clothes for AYuan and to know people.

I will let Ai Chang to take care of A Yuan while i am in the village.

"Ai Chang.... Did Bohai already told you that I want to go in the village for some materials? "

"Yes. He did . AYuan has grown so quickly and i will help you to make him some clothes."

"I heard from Bohai that many ships arrived yesterday and these foreigners are hard to understand. I want to see if i can understand them. "

"But that will mean you will have to go to the harbor.  Some of those sailors didnt see a woman for a long time. You should take care and cover your face."

"To cover my face? Thats extreme. Im not that handsome."

"That's not true and you know it . Bohai will be here in a minute and I want you to be careful. Don't leave without BoHai. "

"Ahhh you are already here, Yin Xue. My friend will be here with the carriage."

"Without a carriage it will take too long to get in the village?"

"Not long, just half an hour.Why? "

"I was thinking i could come back alone if i find what i need in the village. You dont need to worry and you will have time to finish the work you have and not worry for me."

" I can't do that Yin Xue. I will worry no mater what. You've become part of our family in the last 5 months and Ai Chang will beat me to death knowing ive let you come home on foot. "

" ohhh, you're right, i dont want Ai Chang to be upset. I dont want to remember that day.... She is vicious when she is angry. "

"Look, we are close to the village. I will let you on one of the  streets to search what you need while i will go to Duan Li. I will take you home after you get what you need. "

We arrived in village but this is no village.... Its a town.

I get down from the carriage and I start to walk.

Its close to the harbor and the streets are full with people and wagons.

The stalls are full with different vegetables and fish. I think i saw two restaurants and a teahouse. I look around through the streets until i stop in front of a stall with materials.

I see a beautiful baby blue material with peacocks embroidered on. This will look good on my A Yuan. I buy 3 meters from there and i continue my exploration.

As i walk on one of the streets and look  for some sweets for ai Chang and me, i didnt notice the wall in front and  i crash into the it and i fall down. But that wasnt a wall....

I look up and i notice first the red beard and then the blue eyes.

("ohh, what do we have here...." ) ", he talked in english....

As the big man moved i notice he is with two other friends with him and one of them is gesticulating trying to make himself understood.

(" Dont bother Arlen, this people dont understand us, it was a waste of time and money to come here.")

The red-haired man lools at me and gives me his hand to rise from the ground and i take it.

("Thank you, im sorry i wasnt paying attention."), i responded to him in english.

They just stop and stare at me.

("You.... Did you just speak..")

("yeah? Im sorry that i crashed into you. Have a nice day. ")

I let the three guys next to that stall and i go to the stall with sweet candy. I will buy some

While the three warriors....

"Elian, how come in the whole town, only a little girl was able to talk to us in our language?"

"I have no idea. Everything we tried until now was a failure."

"Arlen, stop . This people dont understand us."

I bought the candy and i want to look for other things but i am followed. Two ugly guys are following me. Its the third stall since i notice their presence.

I have zero muscles and zero fighting experience, what can i do..? If i run i could end up in an alley with no one to help me so i am more safe in the crowd.

I look behind me and i see them, they start smiling. Do they think i am scared?

Behind them i see the foreigners. I look at the red-haired guy and he makes a gesture like warning.

I understand his intention, he wants to help me or... something?.

I turn sharp and i rise my hand.

("Hi Arlen.")

Those guys stopped not knowing what i just said and then, the red hair guy passed between them looking menacing . The other two guys that were with the red-haired guy comes next to me, creating a wall of pure muscles.

Those guys thought i will be a easy prey..... Hehehe. And now they run off.

"Thank you. I was in a sticky situation here."

"How do you know my name is Arlen?"

"I heard your friend saying your name."

"Smart girl...."

"What?"

"I just said you are a smart girl."

"Im not a girl. Im a guy. "

"What?" all three said in the same time.

"Do i look like a girl to you?"

"Yes, you do". the red haired guy said.

"Ohh, Let me treat you with a meal. To thank you for your help."

"How about we have a chat instead. We will pay the meal but you will chose our food because nobody understands our language."

"Ok. "

"How about here. It looks great with this decorations."

"Thats a teahouse. It will sell cha and little snacks. Its for socializing and dating. "

"Food?"

"Let's go to a restaurant. I think you will want something more meaty..."

"By the way, i am Yin Xue.  You are? "

"I am Elian Blethen, this is my brother  Arlen and our friend Markus. We have travelled to your country to trade."

"But nobody understands you?"

"Exactly."

"This restaurant looks good, lets get a table."

We enter the restaurant and all the eyes are on us.

"Welcome, welcome"

"A table please, somewhere quiet."

"I understand, follow me".

We go on the secons floor and we are shown a private room with a view on the street. Its quiet and welcoming. The colors in the room are a light blue with koi fish painted on the doors and delicate white flowers are in a tiny pot next to the window.

"Chose your seat."

"We are sitting on the floor?"

"Yea Arlen, did you forgot how chinese are always sitting on their knees".

What did he said? Did i heard wrong?

He said 'chinese ' but in this time the word china and chinese shouldn't exist.
