The next morning came and Harlow was greeted by a bright day. She had one of the best sleeps of her life, especially after gulping down the best noodle soup she'd ever tasted in her life. Even their chef back at the Blackwood mansion couldn't beat Alanis's noodle soup.
"You're awake?" She heard his deep voice and her eyes moved to the man seated on the sofa. He was dressed in his black robe, legs crossed as he read through a magazine. His hair was still a little damped, evidence of him just getting out of the shower.
"Enjoying the view, my villain? Should I strike a pose, or is this already perfect for you?" He finally met her gaze and she rolled her eyes.
"Don't flatter yourself." She said dragging her feet from the bed as she headed for the restroom. Her feet felt a little better this morning. At least she could walk freely.
