Her green eyes followed the maids moving around the garden as they arranged. In exactly one week, this place will be filled with everyone celebrating her marriage to George.
Though he was not the man she wanted to be with, he was her ticket to Alanis. She couldn't wait for him to see what he had been missing all this while. Alanis will beg her and regret not marrying her.
