Harlow watched her, unimpressed, before letting out a long, exaggerated yawn. "...Oh no... What ...ever... shall I do with all of this life-changing information, dear sister?" She lazily rubbed her eyes, as if barely staying awake.
The way Claudia's face twisted in rage was almost comical. Her nostrils flared, her lips curled, and then, before Harlow could blink, Claudia lunged towards her.
A flash of silver. A dagger.
But Harlow had been ready.
She sidestepped with ease, the blade slicing through empty air where her chest had been just moments ago. Claudia, caught off guard by the miss, stumbled forward slightly, and that was all the opportunity Harlow needed.
