Harlow added the final touches to Charlotte's face before gently turning her toward the mirror.
"Wow," Charlotte gasped, placing both hands on her cheeks as she took in her reflection.
Her beautiful, wrinkled face looked radiant, the soft makeup enhancing her natural elegance.
"You young people really know fashion," she mused, admiring herself in the square-shaped mirror before her. "Back in my time, we didn't have to do too much."
Harlow smiled. "It's not the makeup, Grandma. You're naturally so beautiful."
Charlotte chuckled, her heart warming at the compliment. This daughter-in-law of hers, she was beginning to love her more than she ever thought possible.
"Of course, I know that," she teased, lifting her chin proudly. "But you really are good at what you do, Harlow."
