The evening clouds turned darker and the guests already started arriving for the auction house. This would be the first time a different diamond brand aside from the Blackwood's were hosting an auction for diamonds and they were eager to see how good their diamonds were.
By this time, words had already spread across the city about who the diamond queen was and her judgment of her family. They say she's authentic and had rejected bribes from her sister who thought they could bribe their way to the top.
Everyone frowned at the Blackwoods company as they criticized them. Many said this was what they always did, fighting people or bullying them with money to get to the top.
