The chance

Everything is moved moments before the breach, time moved back, and only O5 remembered SCP-9743's words and events. O5-4 told the other members of the O5 council about the deal, and what was going to happen in a moment, and in an instant, they started preparing for what was going to happen.

Few minutes before the breach, suddenly, multiple teams of MTF from different Sites closer to Site-19, reached the location, and acted unknowing what was going to happen, but they went in action.

While the MTF teams started using the elevators, and descending to Level 1, and then going to take the next elevator to Level 2, suddenly, the alarm went on, the breach has just started, and the event was repeating itself, but this time, the MTF was there.

With very quick move, they ran, went to Level 2, and a team remained with SCP-035, while others continued to the elevator of Level 3. After a moment, luckily, the MTF encountered SCP-3114 in their way while going to check on SCP-105. two teams remained to stop SCP-3114, while others went splitting up for cover the rest.

2 teams encountered SCP-682 dodging as was more adapted, but was being told by SCP-035 how SCP-9743's fighting style was, but then, both are surprised by the both MTF teams interrupting the fight by shooting at SCP-682, distracting him, and making SCP-9743 be able to take down SCP-682.

After SCP-9743 used a skull almost vaporizing SCP-682, he went to the MTF teams, wondering what was going on.

MTF 1: "... Just a simple breach of contingency. They want their freedom, and they will take it by force."

SCP-9743: "Uhm... Alright?... I mean... They? So... The reptile was one, but... Who else?"

MTF 2: "SCP-173, the sculpture. SCP-106, the old man. SCP-3114. And leaded by SCP-079 and SCP-035."

SCP-9743: "... I have... No idea of what any of that means. Wait, 035? What does that mask have to do with this?"

The MTF looked at each other, and decided not make him know, by just telling him about being manipulating others to obtain their freedom by force, instead of talking. And then, they instantly went for SCP-079, leaving SCP-9743 intrigued, but also concerned, wondering about the situation.

The multiple MTF teams splatted for take care of each SCP in the breach, as two teams were with SCP-3114 to unable it reaching SCP-105, a team taking SCP-173 back to it's containment chamber, a team preparing to contain SCP-106 once again, and another team trying to distract SCP-035 from telepathically talking with anyone.

After a big while, everything is solved, as the MTF teams took care and dealt with the problems, and then, grabbed what remains of SCP-682 back to it's containment, while SCP-9743 remained wondering everything that just happened and was going on, but then, O5-4 appears, directly walking towards SCP-9743.

SCP-9743: "Uhm... Hi?"

O5-4: "SCP-9743, I'm here for reward you for your effort and assistance."

SCP-9743: "... Huh? Why everyone calls me SCP numbers? At least a nickname, or my name, or something else, no? It just sounds... weird..."

O5-4: "Don't worry about that in this moment, you and your girlfriend will be leaded to have a better place to be, for your so good contribution."

This comment makes SCP-9743 blush slightly, and be nervous, even stuttering.

SCP-9743: "I-I mean... I... I'm not sure t-that I... Have a girlfriend or anything... U-uhm... J-just... W-well... Uhm..."

Suddenly, SCP-9743 is taken with some force by O5-4, who leads him for a moment until reaching where SCP-105's containment chamber is, and both enter.

SCP-9743: "Uhm... H-hi Iris, uhm... Before you ask, I have no idea."

SCP-105 wonder why O5-4 seems to be taking SCP-9743 with some force, but then, she's also taken, and both together, are being brought to a long long walk until reaching Level 1.

SCP-9743: "Who are you? And where are you taking us?"

O5-4: "To your better place to be and remain. Both will have a shared place, as part of the benefit for the good job you contribution was."

SCP-105: "What did you to gain... What is saying?" Says half blushed, with a smirk, and a little honored.

SCP-9743: "I don't know. I just killed the reptile again. Maybe is immortal and revives each time, and maybe for killing it?"

SCP-105: "Well, maybe. For taking down an immortal to not cause trouble, that should grant good rewards~"

SCP-9743: Whispering. "Not now. Don't flirt pervertedly when we're not alone."

In the rest of the walk, SCP-105 continued smirking and flirting a little with SCP-9743, who after a moment, started to also flirt back at her. After a long walk and travel, both are successfully leaded to a room in Floor 1, and both start looking around the room, as it seems more as a matrimony room than anything, and yet, it is on the same floor where the offices are located.

SCP-9743: "Wow... This is HUGE!"

SCP-105: "I know something bigger~"

SCP-9743 scoffs for the comment, and then turns to look at SCP-105 with an embarrassed face, while giggles slightly to make it less awkward.

SCP-105: "I meant the forest we went for picnic, you naughty thief~"

SCP-105 then started laughing, SCP-9743's reaction was palm his face, but then started giggling to not make the moment weird. Soon later, MTF agents brought to both clothes and uniforms with their SCP number and name, in the front the name in tiny in the top left, while in the back in big their SCP numeration. Also, a Keycard of the O5 Council was given to SCP-9743, as is the Keycard with the highest rank, allowing SCP-9743 to go wherever he wants inside the facility, but yet, he didn't know the limits of each Keycard Level.

SCP-9743: "Uhm... Isn't this... Too much for killing a lizard?"

O5-4: "Is very difficult to deal with SCP-682, as is known as the 'hard to kill reptile', and as you're capable of handling it, take it down, and unable it's anomalous healing, your rewards are high, but we will need you to take it down."

SCP-9743: "Uhm... Alright?... Thanks."

O5-4: "Keep up the good work, but also, I'll take the offer of your book, and I need to take your star."

SCP-9743: "My... Book?... What book?... Oh wait, I remember! Ugh, yeah, that book I offered time ago to the psycho something, no? Well, the doctor of psychology, I guess?"

O5-4: "... Dr. Sophia Adler, yes. She is your psychologist, and who is in the lead to study you psychologically."

SCP-9743: "Uhm, sure. I just need to go to my void, and work on it. You can wait, no?"

O5-4: "Yes, I can wait."

SCP-9743: "About the star... Yeah, I guess. But why would you want it?"

O5-4: "... It seems beautiful and extraordinary."

SCP-9743: "Uhm... Alright. Sure, then. But let me give you a tip for the star. When you grab it, don't grab it directly, just place your hand around and down, and it will float in your hands."

After a short moment later, the MTF members along the O5 member left both SCP-9743 and SCP-105 in their new 'containment room'. Low minutes later, the rest of the MTF teams in the under floors came back, as all SCPs were contained, but they had to deal with SCP-035's new ability to telepathically affect anyone, no matter the distance; and also, they were holding the star, and for O5-4, the star seems less lifelike, as if the reset restored it's original form.

Inform: The Repeat Breach and Aftermath from Dr. Sophia Adler and O5-4's Perspectives The Deal and Preparations

From the moment O5-4 informed the Council of the events of the reset timeline, it became clear that swift action was necessary. SCP-9743's ultimatum was both a gift and a threat: the Foundation had been granted a brief opportunity to rectify their errors, but failure would result in irreversible consequences.

O5-4:

"We have only minutes to act before the breach begins again. Deploy additional MTF teams from nearby sites immediately. Focus on preemptively containing high-risk SCPs. SCP-9743 must not remember the events that have occurred or suspect our foreknowledge."

Simultaneously, O5-4 coordinated with internal teams to ensure that SCP-9743's demands from the deal were honored, albeit cautiously:

Preparations for SCP-9743 and SCP-105's new accommodations were finalized. High-level MTF reinforcements were dispatched to SCP-914, SCP-682, and SCP-035 to prevent further escalation. Protocols were modified to monitor SCP-9743's behavior without directly interfering, minimizing any potential for suspicion.

The Breach Begins: The O5 Council's Strategic Intervention

As predicted, the alarms blared across Site-19 at the exact moment the breach had occurred in the original timeline. Unlike before, however, reinforcements were already en route, and MTF teams swiftly began their descent to Levels 2 and 3.

Dr. Adler, unaware of the reset timeline but assigned to monitor SCP-9743, observed the breach unfold with growing concern.

Dr. Adler's Thoughts (During the Breach):

Why did O5-4 call for so many reinforcements? They couldn't have anticipated this... Could they?

SCP-9743's containment chamber remained undisturbed as he acted on his own to assist against the breach. His decision to confront SCP-682 once again, alongside the MTF teams, proved critical in managing the chaos.

SCP-9743's Role: Assistance Without Knowledge

In the heat of battle, SCP-9743 fought SCP-682 with his usual deadly efficiency, while two MTF teams focused on dividing SCP-682's attention and disrupting its strategy. SCP-9743's confusion over the coordinated response became evident as he conversed briefly with the MTF teams after incapacitating SCP-682.

SCP-9743:

"A breach, huh? All these things want to leave? And the lizard's only one of them?"

The MTF, careful not to reveal their knowledge of the previous timeline, refrained from mentioning SCP-035's influence or SCP-079's manipulations. Instead, they focused SCP-9743's attention on neutralizing SCP-079 and maintaining containment for other anomalies.

Meanwhile, other MTF units tackled key targets:

SCP-3114: Two teams intercepted SCP-3114, successfully preventing it from reaching SCP-105's containment chamber

SCP-173: A specialized team recaptured and contained the sculpture.

SCP-106: Efforts to neutralize the Old Man succeeded with the deployment of enhanced containment procedures.

The breach, while intense, concluded far more swiftly than in the reset timeline, thanks to the preemptive action by the O5 Council and SCP-9743's assistance.

Post-Breach: O5-4's Move to Secure SCP-9743

After the breach, O5-4 approached SCP-9743 directly to reward him for his actions, honoring the deal made in the previous timeline. Dr. Adler observed the interaction through live camera feeds, her instincts sensing something unusual in O5-4's behavior.

Dr. Adler's Thoughts (Post-Breach):

It's almost like O5-4 knew SCP-9743's role in advance. But how? And why does this feel like it's... rehearsed?

O5-4's interactions with SCP-9743 were notably measured, carefully balancing authority with flattery to gain the anomaly's cooperation.

O5-4:

"SCP-9743, your contribution during this breach has not gone unnoticed. As recognition for your efforts, we are relocating you and SCP-105 to a shared space on Level 1, closer to the administrative facilities. This will be a significant improvement over your current accommodations."

The mention of SCP-105 visibly flustered SCP-9743, who stumbled through a response, clearly unused to direct praise or personal attention.

The Transition to New Accommodations

Escorted by O5-4 and a contingent of MTF agents, SCP-9743 and SCP-105 were led to their new shared accommodations. Along the way, SCP-105 flirted lightheartedly with SCP-9743, teasing him about their newfound "status" within the Foundation. SCP-9743, despite his initial embarrassment, gradually relaxed and reciprocated her playful banter.

The new quarters, designed to resemble a luxury apartment rather than a containment cell, were tailored to SCP-9743's and SCP-105's preferences. O5-4 ensured that the space felt like a reward rather than a restriction, further securing SCP-9743's cooperation.

Delivering Rewards and Finalizing the Deal

O5-4 personally handed SCP-9743 several rewards agreed upon in the prior timeline:

A personalized O5 Council Keycard, granting unrestricted access throughout Site-19. Custom uniforms, displaying SCP-9743's and SCP-105's designations, tailored to differentiate them from standard SCP subjects.

Acknowledgment of their elevated status, marking them as cooperative anomalies with privileges beyond standard containment.

Foundation Responsibilities Post-Breach

The O5 Council immediately enacted stricter measures to ensure the events leading to the breach could not repeat:

Revised Containment Protocols: SCP-035's influence and SCP-079's manipulations were prioritized, with new countermeasures developed to prevent telepathic or network-based breaches. Enhanced Anomaly Relations: The treatment of SCP-9743 and SCP-105 served as a model for future cooperative frameworks with anomalies.

Precautionary Measures for SCP-9743: While SCP-9743 now held significant autonomy, discrete monitoring ensured his activities remained within acceptable boundaries.

The Council's Awareness of the Star's True Power

The star, now returned to its original form, was delivered to the O5 Council for safekeeping. However, its diminished glow suggested that SCP-9743's use of it to reset the timeline had altered its nature, limiting its power.

O5-4's Internal Reflection:

This star, extraordinary as it is, must never be used again. SCP-9743 has given us one chance to act responsibly. If we fail, his determination will leave no survivors.

Conclusion

SCP-9743 and SCP-105 now reside in their shared accommodations on Level 1, their dynamic a blend of partnership and playful flirtation. The Foundation has avoided catastrophe, but the memory of SCP-9743's warning lingers within the O5 Council.

The message is clear: the next breach could be humanity's last. The Foundation must tread carefully, balancing cooperation with SCP-9743 against the ever-present risk of his ire. The future depends on their ability to maintain trust, mitigate threats, and uphold the fragile peace forged through the reset.
