Resurrecting Lucas

Christopher got to his room and quickly started drawing the circle...

"Can't wait... Lucas, my second Beast... Time for you to be resurrected."

Lazarus stood on the bed, silently watching Christopher draw the circle, stand back up, and rub his ring.

A blue light flew out from it and formed the cat.

"Come on, girl... Take this." He opened his hand, showing the cat the claw.

The cat was confused.

'Why is he showing me a claw?'

Seeing its confused eyes, Christopher smiled and explained:

"You have to hold it in your mouth, or eat it... Then you'll stand on the circle."

The cat finally nodded, took the claw, held it in its mouth, and walked towards the circle, standing on it.

'Lucas is female, and you're female... Lucas is a cat, and you're a cat... Nice!'

Christopher picked up the knife, cut his palm, and placed it on the circle.

Lazarus watched as the circle glowed with a radiant white light and shot towards the ceiling, colliding with it.

He lowered his gaze to Christopher, whose eyes had turned white. The next moment...

BOOOM!!

A powerful blast erupted from the circle, throwing Christopher back.

Lazarus moved down and caught him.

"Thanks, bro."

Christopher smiled, getting up from the ground.

The two turned their heads to the light, which slowly dimmed, and a white tiger with wings and black stripes appeared, looking around.

"Lucas?" The two called out in unison.

Lucas's ears twitched at the sound, and she turned her head to the two. Seeing Lazarus, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Lazarus?! I thought we..."

Her words trailed off, seeing Christopher standing beside Lazarus.

"Master?"

"Hello, girl. We missed you."

"Master!"

Lucas flew towards Christopher and collided with him, knocking him to the ground. Lucas started licking his face, causing Christopher to chuckle.

"Okay-okay-okay. That's enough, and lower your voice, or you'll wake up everyone in the house."

Lucas looked around the room and asked, confused, "Where are we? And why do you look different?"

Christopher sat up and spent the next ten minutes explaining everything to Lucas.

"Hmm... Okay, what's your plan on getting Grim's scythe?"

"At the moment, I have no idea... We'll think about it... Lady Gabi isn't someone you can reason with, or gas... She's already tainted by Grim's scythe... So her Life Force has mutated... She's practically one of the strongest Legendary-level Tamers alive."

His eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly stood up. With a flick of his wrist... a long sword made from Life Force appeared in his hand.

"I gained another skill! [Sword King]!" He smiled and swung his sword, creating a gust of wind.

"Nice. Now, Lucas, let's change the names of your skills."

"Huh?" Lucas was confused.

"Listen carefully. Your skill known as [Killing Intent] will be changed to [Terror]. Your skill known as [Poisonous Claws] will be changed to [Claws of Retribution]. Your third skill, known as [Flash], will be changed to [Dementia]. Your fourth skill, known as [Light Fire Shield], will be changed to [Light Barrier]. Your last skill, known as [Tiger Charge], will be changed to [Collision]... Do you understand?"

Lucas stared at him for a few seconds, then nodded in understanding.

"Did you change Lazarus's skills?"

"Yeah," Christopher answered, adding, "You guys should rest, and please, take your second appearance."

The two looked at each other and turned back into a rhino and a cat, non-combat mode... Then walked towards the king-size bed and got on it.

Christopher smiled, put away his sword, and walked towards the bathroom.

"Good night, guys."

He smiled, closing the door.

[Days later.]

"Come on, Elder Brother! You'll be late for registration!" Katherine said to Christopher, who climbed down the stairs in black pants and a white T-shirt.

"Brother, these are the things you should expect," Adonis said as Christopher stopped in front of the two.

"First, a Life Force test... To see what level you are... Second, Beasts... But those who have already tamed their Beasts don't have to take this test... And third: Battle... You all will be taken to another dimension, where you have to fight enraged Beasts, and well... yourselves... The strongest Beast in our time was Elite-stage... You'll have to survive for one hour, and everything happening inside will be watched by us students, the audience, and also the teachers and principal."

"So there are three rounds to the test? But why does it sound like they're preparing us for a war?"

Katherine and Adonis looked at each other and burst out laughing.

They got into his new car, a white Lamborghini, and drove out of the compound.

On the way, Christopher turned his head to Katherine:

"How is Life Force measured?" He asked.

"With a Beast sculpture... You'll channel your Life Force and strike it; the number will be displayed... 1-10 is a Novice-level Tamer, 11-25 is an Intermediate level... 26-45 is an Expert Level. 46-60 is an Elite level. 61-75 is a Legendary level, and 76-99 is a Master Level... 100 belongs to a Supreme Tamer... And for five centuries now, no one has achieved that as a student... The highest is Elite level," Katherine answered.

'Hmm... 100 for Supreme... Let's see what I'll get,' he thought with a smile.
