[Etc.]

Christopher observed the board and nodded in satisfaction.

"Congratulations, Master Christopher."

He looked to his right, seeing Mitchell walking towards him.

"Oh, to you too," he said absentmindedly.

Mitchell nodded and turned his head to Advika, who stood beside Christopher, her gaze fixed on the screen.

"Master Christopher, I want to ask if she's your girlfriend."

Advika narrowed her eyes and turned towards the two guys.

"Oh? Is something the matter?" Christopher asked, not answering the question.

No one knows what Mitchell is planning; this guy is nice and all, but he's a snake in human clothing... Christopher learned his lesson from the memories he gained from the owner of the body.

"I just want to know if she's already taken; I want to ask her—"

"—Sorry, you can't... She's already taken."

Mitchell stared at Christopher for a long time, trying to gauge if he was lying. Getting nothing, he nodded and walked away.

'What happened to Christopher? He's always scared of me, but... Why is he acting all different today?' he thought.

Christopher stared at Mitchell's departing figure for some seconds and rubbed his ring, taking Lazarus and Lucas inside.

"What was that about?" Advika stepped forward, stopping beside him.

"Just some troublemaker," Christopher answered dismissively.

"And for your information, I don't belong to anyone, not you or him."

"When did I say you belong to me?" Advika raised an eyebrow.

"Okay-okay-okay... But I said that for your safety; that guy is wicked."

"I don't need your protection. If you want someone to protect, look for a girlfriend and protect her... And second, I don't like guys who answer women's names."

With that outburst, she walked away, heading towards the gathered youngsters.

"What a girl, so feisty... And to thought the goddess is inside her." Christopher shook his head and followed behind her.

"Gather everyone!"

Monica's voice echoed across the stadium.

The 30 youngsters gathered before her, and she began.

"You guys did exceptionally well. I was expecting 1,000 points, or maybe 5,000... But the lowest is 10,000... I'm really impressed... So for this, the academy is giving you all a free 10,000 points..."

Upon hearing her, the youngsters were amazed and stunned.

"So everyone passed. The thirty of you can start tomorrow... Those of you who gained top four... These are for you."

She waved her hand, and four badges appeared, flying towards the four.

Mitchell took his silver badge and observed the Elite emblem on it, and his Beast Dragon, then smiled.

Advika took her blue badge and stared at the Intermediate emblem, which was the lower version of the Elite emblem... She smiled, seeing Vicki on it.

Mariana caught her blue badge and clenched her teeth: 'Just an Intermediate! I can do better than that! Even a lowlife is ahead of me; she'll see.'

Christopher stared at the red badge in his hand, with the Legendary emblem, higher than an Elite.

'Nice,' he thought, seeing Lucas on the badge. 'Lucas's wings were hidden, so they couldn't complete her appearance, but still... It's good,' he added.

"The rest of you should come to my office tomorrow morning to get your badges, and your uniforms will be delivered to you... Congratulations."

She started clapping.

CLAP!!

CLAP!!

CLAP!!

CLAP!!

CLAP!!

And the whole audience joined in...

A young man in the crowd, dressed in a black outfit and concealing his face with a mask, stood up and walked out of the stadium.

_

Outside, he brought out his phone and made a call.

"There have been some changes; we must also change our tactics... The Tamer Academy now has some powerful students. If we want to win this, we must go big."

"Really? That's nice... But how powerful are these new students?" a voice sounded from the other end.

"Well... One has a Legendary-stage Beast, Master Mitchell... The other has three Elite-stage wolves... Hmm, the third only has a Perfect-stage earth cat—"

"—And you call them powerful?! We can bring out ten students who all have Legendary-stage Beasts, and 20 who have Elite-stage... Perfect-stage?"

He scoffed:

"We have a whole class of them."

"That's not it, Principal."

The guy reached his black Audi, opened the driver's door, and got inside.

"The main trouble is the fourth; his name is Christopher... He has ten Elite-stage fire lions and three Perfect-stage Beasts."

"How is that a problem?" The voice sounded irritated.

"His Perfect-stage Beast killed a Mythical-stage monster."

He waited, but the other side remained silent, so he continued:

"And his Beast killed it with a single attack... As you know, I'm the only one with a Mythical-stage Beast; I don't want my Beast to be killed, that's why I said we should change the plan."

"Ahem!"

The other side cleared his throat:

"We'll only change a slight part of the plan, but you'll still have to fight. Remember, it's just a test. He doesn't have the experience of a real battle... Get back here; the competition starts next month, and that's just a week from now."

The guy nodded and disconnected the call.

'Christopher, what else are you hiding? And why did that Beasts' attack looked like the Supreme Tamer--'

He stopped himself: "That can't be possible, I should get going."

He nodded his head, and heaved a sigh.

"We'll see how this turns out."

He started the car and drove away from the academy.

_______

[At the southern side of Cordelia.]

[Lady Gabi's Estate.]

VOOM!!

A Lamborghini broke down the gate, the loud collision drawing the attention of the guards. They frowned seeing the vehicles driving inside the huge compound with fury; five black BMWs.

The guards all pointed their rifles at the six cars, which stopped before them.

"LADY GABI!!! COME OUT!!!"

Rayon Danzig got out of the Lamborghini... More than ten men in black, all armed with rifles, faces cold, got out of the BMWs and followed behind him.

"Why are you shouting my name?"

A middle-aged woman with long black hair, which stopped behind her back, walked forward; she was in a white business suit and holding a black walking cane.

"You dare ask me that?!!! I won't ask twice!! Give me back the claw!!!"

"What claw are you speaking of?"

Lady Gabi stood behind her guards, staring at Danzig with a raised eyebrow.

"You dare pretend?! Don't you know the claw I bought for billions??!!" Danzig was getting even more furious.

"If you don't give it to me! I'll burn down your estate!!"

"You dare threaten me?!!"

Gabi smashed her cane on the ground... Moments later, it instantly turned into a black scythe.

"You... Do you think I'm scared of you?!! Let me tell you, you might have the scythe, but if I don't find the claw, I'll show you my powers!!" Danzig wasn't backing down.

"Shut up, Danzig!!! If you're so desperate about your claw, why don't you check your security cameras?!" Gabi suggested, her tone as cold as ice.

"I did! But that fool you sent was wearing a mask!! I want to know how you got my password!!!"

Gabi scoffed in disdain:

"I don't know your password, and why would I need your claw when I have this?!" She struck the ground again, causing the scythe to radiate an unholy pressure, the men Danzig brought with him all took a step back.

"Last warning, leave my home, or you'll regret it!!"

"Hahaha! Now you're threatening me?!!!" Danzig yelled in rage.

"Calm down, you two."

Before the two forces could collide in a battle, a young, handsome muscular man in an expensive-looking white suit walked out of the room, his blue eyes fixed on the two leaders of the underground forces.

"Master Alex?"

Danzig was stunned, his eyes widened in surprise. This was Alex, trained by the late Supreme Tamer, and among the four Master Tamers in the world... These guys were unbeatable, both with Beasts and in one-on-one battles... That's why they're known as the Master Beast Tamers, even though there were more than a thousand Master Tamers in the world.

Alex stared at the two for a few seconds and turned to Danzig, a frown settling on his face:

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"Master Alex, she stole the claw I bought from you; I'm here to ask for it!" Danzig explained.

"And how do you know she stole it?"

"........"
