Chapter 114: The Bloodstains at the Back Door

　　On the phone, Mr. Yu's voice was very hoarse.

　　"We found the patch from the child's clothes outside a mountain resort. My wife had a hunch that the child was on the mountain, and she didn't want to give up even after the search team left. We actually made a discovery—the patch was sewn by her, and it has the child's name on it."

　　"Really?" Lu Fei was overjoyed and stood up immediately, "That's great! Did you find the child too?"

　　"But why would the Moonview Manor want to kidnap children? Is it a den of human traffickers?"

　　"In that grove of trees over there, I'll take you there now."

　　Lu Fei, knowing they were anxious, didn't say more and immediately led the two towards the woods.

　　"It was too dark at the time, we couldn't see very clearly." As they walked, Lu Fei recounted what happened last night, "The child could run and move, which suggests he should be fine physically."

　　"Thank goodness!" Yu Zhensheng and his wife held hands tightly, "The search team had already left, but fortunately, my wife insisted on searching in the mountains and finally found Dongdong's armband outside that restaurant."

　　"Did you look inside the restaurant?" Lu Fei asked.

　　"We asked, but the people in the restaurant said they hadn't seen him and wouldn't let us search inside." Yu Zhensheng sighed, "That's why we called you, to trouble you to come all this way."

　　As they spoke, they had arrived at the small grove of trees.

　　"Mr. Yu, we will accompany you to the mountain villa to look for him again," Lu Fei said.

　　The mountain villa only opens at night, and it was very quiet now, with a few staff members cleaning up.

　　Yu Zhensheng was about to go up to greet them when Lu Fei stopped him.

　　"Wait, Mr. Yu, take me to where you found the armband first."

　　"Okay."

　　The couple led them around the main gate, through the woods to the back, and finally stopped outside a very high wall.

　　This seemed to be the back entrance of the villa.

　　"The armband was found just outside this door, covered in fallen leaves. If it weren't for my wife being familiar with the armband, it would have been really hard to notice," said Yu Zhensheng.

　　Lu Fei looked at it and tried to push the door, but it was locked from the inside and wouldn't budge.

　　However, he found a few tufts of wool and some bloodstains at the entrance.

　　"Wool again…..." he mused.

　　"Mr. Lu, do you also think Dongdong is inside? Otherwise, how could the armband be here?" Mrs. Yu looked at him hopefully, "Please help us speak to the owner and let us go in to search."

　　"Don't worry, Mrs. Yu, I'll go talk to the owner right now."

　　Lu Fei put the wool into his pocket.

　　He quickly returned to the gate.

　　"Why is it you two again? I've already said we haven't seen your child. Why are you here again?" The server frowned upon seeing Yu Zhensheng and his wife.

　　"Young lady, our child's belongings were found outside your resort. Please let me in to look for him," Yu Zhensheng said with a pleading smile, his request very humble.

　　"If it was found outside, what does it have to do with us? Our boss said we can't let you in to cause trouble!"

　　The server stood with her hands on her hips, looking fierce.

　　"A child is missing. What's wrong with letting them in to search? Call your boss out here!" Hu Zi shouted angrily.

　　"No..." The server still tried to stop them.

　　"What's going on, making so much noise at the gate?"

　　At that moment, the bald man came out with a frown, and he was slightly startled when he saw Lu Fei and Hu Zi.

　　"Manager Lu, why are you here?"

　　"Mr. Hua, my friend's child has gone missing nearby. I want to enter the estate to look around and see if anyone has seen them," Lu Fei explained his purpose.

　　The Yu Zhensheng couple couldn't help but become tense.

　　Unexpectedly, the bald man revealed a generous smile and told the staff to step aside.

　　"Since you are Manager Lu's friend, then you are not here to cause trouble. Come in and search as you please."
