Chapter 119: Slaying the Fish

Seeing Lu Fei's look of panic, the dark-faced woman let out a smug sneer.

  "Now you're scared? Too late!"

She brought the soul-entrancing incense to her lips and blew a breath towards Lu Fei.

  "Huuu—"

A strong, exotic fragrance spread out. This scent was very similar to the aroma from the human-faced eel, only much more concentrated, as if it were a refined essence.

Lu Fei's eyes became hazy, and his body began to sway.

"Turning you into livestock would be perfect to feed my Big Black!"

The dark-faced woman sneered as she put away the soul-enchanting incense and took out a dirty sheepskin, walking towards Lu Fei.

  Who would have known?

Just as she took a step.

A tall, dark figure silently appeared behind her, raising a hand high and striking her hard on the back of the neck.

The dark-faced woman stiffened, her eyes filled with disbelief, and then she collapsed limply to the ground.

  "Tie her up!"

Lu Fei's dazed eyes suddenly brightened. As he shouted, he swung his thunderstrike jujube wood stick at the human-faced eel behind him.

While he was engaging with the dark-faced woman, he had been keeping an eye on the movements of the human-faced eel out of the corner of his eye.

He saw that as his body swayed, the human-faced eel poked its head out from under the cage, its pitch-black fish eyes flashing with an excited and cruel light. Its flat mouth opened, eager to take a bite out of him.

As the dark-faced woman fell, Lu Fei suddenly turned around; this whole incident happened in an instant.

The human-faced eel was terrified, retreating at the fastest speed, but it was still too late and was hit by the lightning-striken jujube stick.

  Buzz!

Blue electric arcs flashed on its slippery body. The human-faced eel stiffened for a moment, and once it recovered, it immediately panicked and retreated under the cage.

Tiger found a rope among the clutter and tied up the unconscious black-faced woman, also stuffing a dirty, smelly rag into her mouth.

  "Give me the salt."

Lu Fei did not let his guard down just because the woman had been subdued. Without further ado, he asked Tiger to bring over the salt.

"Here it is!" Tiger rummaged through his backpack and threw out several large packets of salt to Lu Fei.

Lu Fei caught them steadily and immediately tore open the bags. Looking at the human-faced eel trembling with fear under the cage, he gave a cold smile.

"Let's see where you can run now!"

He then abruptly threw handfuls of salt at it.

The most ordinary table salt, when it falls on the face of the human-faced eel, is like sulfuric acid, dissolving the slimy mucus. The human-faced eel writhes and rolls in agony, its human-like face contorted, emitting a hoarse scream.

Streams of water seep from beneath the thick body of this monster as it desperately twists and turns, trying to escape, but it can no longer move.

Lu Fei did not stop, pouring all the salt onto the human-faced eel.

All the mucus on its body turned into clear water, and the human-faced eel could no longer struggle, looking like a fish on the brink of death, its flat mouth opening and closing feebly.

"Haha! Run, why aren't you running, you disgusting thing?"

Huzi felt immensely satisfied, clapping his hands and cheering.

Lu Fei remained calm, finding a stick and using it to pull the human-faced eel out from under the cage.

This nearly two-meter-long, adult-thigh-thick monster looked like a massive, disgusting worm.

Its fish eyes were filled with fear, wanting to escape, but it could only tremble weakly.

There was a ring of moisture around its eyes, whether from tears or water, no one knew.

How could Lu Fei show any mercy towards such a demonic creature?

It's time to kill the fish!

He directly raised the thunderstrike jujube wood stick, infused it with his spiritual power, and aimed at the top of the human-faced eel's head, striking down fiercely.

  Buzz buzz buzz!

Without the protection of the mucus, faint blue electric arcs flickered across the body of the human-faced eel.

  "Hiss——"

At the same time, the eels in the pool seemed to share its agony, emitting pained screams.

But the screaming only lasted for a moment.

  The electric arcs dissipated.

Black smoke emerged from the flat mouth of the eel, its eyes completely lost their luster, and its thick body twitched, exuding a smell of charred flesh.

"Oh, mom, this smell! I never want to eat fish again!"

Huzi fanned his nose with his hand, feeling nauseous despite the apparent pleasant aroma.

Lu Fei let out a long breath; he had just used 90% of his magical power, leaving him slightly dizzy.

But he did not stop to rest; instead, he called for Huzi to quickly rescue the little lambs.

The two of them picked up the bottles of mineral water and fed each lamb one by one.

  A miraculous scene unfolded.

The dirty sheepskins on the little lambs fell off, revealing delicate, pale faces.

  "They're children, they're children!"

Huzi was so excited that he almost jumped up and down.

Among these children, Lu Fei found the little face from the missing person poster, and the heavy stone in his heart finally dropped.

Although the children were weak and some of them had injuries, they were at least all alive.

  It's okay.

  We made it in time!

At this moment, he also became happy and excited.

"Boss, hurry up and notify Mr. Yu. If they know the children have been found, they'll be so happy!" Huzi excitedly took out his phone.

"No, call the police first. It's important to get the children to the hospital right away," Lu Fei immediately replied.

"Oh, right, right, I'll call the police..." Just as Huzi was about to dial, he looked around and hesitated, "How should we explain this to the police? Does this count as trespassing?

"That's simple. We just say we heard the children's cries for help, came in to look for them, and then found the children locked up here...

Lu Fei looked around and noticed there were no surveillance cameras in the bungalow.

A man who would do such an immoral deed naturally wouldn't install surveillance cameras. However, as Lu Fei looked, he suddenly noticed a face at the entrance, secretly watching them.

Although the face was not clear, there was a slight shine on the top of the head.

  It's a bald man!

He must have heard the noise and came over to check it out.

Seeing that Lu Fei and Hu Zi had spotted him, he hastily took off running.

  "Boss, I'll go after him!"

Hu Zi immediately chased after him.

He has some training, and his footwork is faster than Lu Fei's; that bald man won't be able to escape.

  "Hu Zi, be careful!"

Lu Fei reminded him, then turned his gaze away, called the police first, and then turned on the lights in the bungalow.

He didn't realize it until he turned on the lights, and what he saw gave him a shock.

In the murky pond, a thick layer of eels floated motionless, as if they were all dead, emitting a strong stench.

Their death should be related to the human-faced eels.

They are all harmful things, good riddance!

"Using live children to feed monsters, are you still human?"

Lu Fei turned around and stared coldly at the dark-faced woman, kicking her awake fiercely and removing the black cloth from her mouth.

He still had more questions to ask.

"Where did your beast-crafting technique come from?"

"Black Mother! You killed my Black Mother! I'll kill you, I'll kill you!" The dark-faced woman saw the corpse of the human-faced eel and let out a heart-wrenching scream.

At this moment, Hu Zi brought back the bald man.

The bald man had shoe prints all over his face and body, and in Hu Zi's hands, he looked like a little chick.

"Husband!" the dark-faced woman shouted anxiously.
