Lying on the ground, Kiana could faintly see something flying towards her from the deer she had just killed, accompanied by occasional sparks of electricity coursing through her body. She instinctively grabbed one of them, but she couldn't catch the rest as they rushed into her body.

"... What is this?"

Kiana was startled, almost thinking the deer wasn't dead yet. She then carefully examined what she was holding: a small chip with floating white text that read Basic Learning Chip.

Kiana quickly understood that this was a drop item, a material from killing monsters. It was increasingly resembling a game. No, for her, this pirate world was indeed a game.

This learning chip could increase her experience by sixty points? That was just like in the game. Kiana took out her phone to check her current level.

In Honkai, there are two leveling systems: Valkyrie Level and Commander Level, which can be understood as the player's level. It's similar to the summoner level and champion level in League of Legends. The Valkyrie level doesn't reset after a match; it retains its level for the next battle.

The Commander level also affects the Valkyrie level, meaning if the Commander level reaches a certain tier, the Valkyrie level's upper limit will also increase. For example, if the Commander level is ten, the Valkyrie's maximum level can only be ten.

At that moment, Kiana noticed that her Commander level had increased to level two after killing the deer, and her Domain Armor: Bai Lian had also risen to level two. For now, it wasn't necessary to use them. Kiana remembered that after completing her task, there was a Pulse Armor: Vermillion waiting for her to unlock. Using the chip on the Vermillion Armor was more beneficial since the Domain Armor: Bai Lian only needed ten more experience points to reach level three. But due to the Commander level's limitation, it could only gain a maximum of ten experience points, which would leave the extra fifty experience points wasted.

If she were playing a normal game, Kiana would naturally scoff at worrying about a trivial loss. However, this chip was something she had desperately obtained, so she had to be meticulous about it—just like how someone would cherish their hard-earned money more than money found on the ground, feeling pained even to spend it.

Kiana then clicked on the task system icon, where a small red dot indicated that she had completed a task.

As soon as the task interface popped up, Kiana saw the shiny reward icon next to the task she had just completed. Without a second thought, she clicked on it.

The spot that had shown zero coins changed to one thousand coins in the upper right corner of the screen. The treasure chest system on the task interface also gleamed, showing that she could open a treasure chest with just ten points of mission? Kiana was stunned but then ecstatic. Originally, the treasure chest system had a total of five chests, requiring thirty, sixty, and a maximum of one hundred fifty points of mission to open five chests in total, which could yield forty-five crystals. The system would reset at four in the morning the next day.

Now, she could open a chest with just ten points of mission. How could Kiana not be happy?

"Aichan, why can I open a treasure chest with just ten points of mission?"

Aichan's holographic projection suddenly appeared on the phone, smiling at Kiana. "This is Aichan's special treatment for the Captain! Once the Captain's level increases to ten, Aichan will restore the original treasure chest system."

"Eh? No way!"

Kiana's smile instantly froze, but Aichan paid no attention to Kiana's desperate pleading eyes and vanished mercilessly.

Seeing Aichan disappear made Kiana feel a bit awkward. Even if you treat me this way, I still love you, Aichan!

"Forget it, if level ten is canceled, then so be it. As long as there's a special treatment, that's enough."

Kiana soon perked up. She hadn't really expected such a good thing to happen. Be content; one shouldn't be too greedy.

Kiana then clicked on the treasure chest, and inside, there were indeed five crystals. This was just a low-level treasure chest. If she could open a high-level chest with one hundred fifty points of mission, she could get high-level materials and fifteen crystals. It seemed she needed to level up quickly; otherwise, it would take ages to gather enough crystals to draw supplies!

In Honkai, the biggest use for crystals was to draw supplies, where players could obtain various character cards and weapon cards.

Supplies are divided into four types: first is the Friendship Supply, which requires friend points to draw. However, in this world, Kiana had given up on this, as she had no friends, and thus no friendship points. Moreover, Friendship Supplies didn't have good items, at most yielding fragments of character cards.

Next is the Expansion Supply, which only comes out during official events, typically when new armors are released, significantly increasing the chance of getting new armor.

Then there's the Precision Supply, dedicated to drawing weapon cards and stigmata; this is pretty self-explanatory. Lastly, there's the Standard Supply, which is specifically for character cards, but sometimes surprises can happen. Kiana had once drawn a four-star weapon from a Standard Supply, which is the highest initial star weapon in Honkai and can be evolved to a five-star weapon through material upgrades.

Apart from Friendship Supplies, the other three supplies have a safety net mechanism, meaning that one A or higher Valkyrie Armor, or an initial four-star weapon or four-star stigmata is guaranteed in ten draws.

Players can choose between ten draws and single draws, both of which are essentially the same, but perhaps due to psychological factors, Kiana always felt that the probability of drawing good items with ten draws was a bit higher.

However, for now, Kiana looked at the measly five crystals in the upper right corner, feeling only a heh heh to express her mood.

She was still far from the twenty-eight hundred crystals needed for ten draws. There was still a long way to go.

With a sigh, Kiana exited the task interface and opened the Valkyrie system. Her gloomy mood was swept away. "Miyu-chan, Kiana is here to pamper you, hee hee!!"

Unable to contain her laughter, Kiana almost drooled. Excitedly, she clicked on the glowing Pulse Armor: Vermillion. A dazzling light flashed, and a black-haired girl with a calm expression appeared on the screen, dressed in a crimson battle suit. The voluptuous breasts were obscured by sheer black stockings, and the white thighs between her legs made Kiana squint.

"Ehehe, yum!"

Kiana sucked back the drool that was about to spill and eagerly clicked on the Vermillion Armor.

"Come out, Miyu-chan!"

Kiana shouted excitedly. As a bright light flashed, Kiana's figure slightly transformed. Her original bodysuit slowly morphed into the armor on the phone screen, her silver hair gradually changing color to a beautiful deep black.

Kiana's smile froze.

"... Why did I turn into Mei ahhh?!!"

"What's so strange about this, Captain!"

Aichan's voice came from the screen. After a pause, she continued, "Didn't you transform into the Ranger Armor last night? Transforming into the Vermillion Armor isn't strange either, right?"

"This is completely different, okay?!"

Kiana cried out in despair. The Ranger Armor and the Bai Lian Armor both belonged to the same character developed for Kiana, being the same character model. But the Vermillion Armor was different; it belonged to another character! She had thought that once she unlocked the Vermillion Armor, Mei would just appear. It seemed she had overthought it.

Kiana raised her hands, tears streaming down her face.

"Wuwuwu, I thought I could finally touch Mei's moubei, but now I'm just Mei. How can I touch myself? Touching myself is totally not exciting!"

Kiana knelt on the ground, looking utterly despondent.

"... Captain!"

Aichan was at a loss for words, having seen through this perverted Captain.

"Aichan, I beg you, just once, let me touch your moubei! Just once!"

Kiana pleaded, grabbing her phone.

"..."

Zzzz!!

A surge of electricity flashed, and Kiana, in the Vermillion Armor state, trembled again, collapsing onto the ground.

"Go die, perverted Captain! Aichan will never pay attention to you again!"
