Hope van Dyne.
She is the daughter of the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym, and is well known as the second Wasp, as well as the girlfriend of the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang.
In the movies, Hope van Dyne is Hank Pym spy planted inside cross Technologies, helping Hank Pym to prevent cross Technologies from using the Wasp Suit for warfare.
Her specific method is to collaborate with Hank Pym and Scott Lang to steal the Wasp Suit from cross Technologies.
It must be said, this is a very foolish, yet straightforward and aggressive approach.
Anton truly cannot understand how simply stealing the Wasp Suit could have a significant effect on cross Technologies subsequent actions.
If cross Technologies has already mastered the manufacturing process of the Wasp Suit, just stealing one suit cannot change the outcome at most, it could create a minor disruption to cross Technologies success.
Unless cross Technologies hasn't cracked the Pym Particles.
The only reason they could manufacture the Wasp Suit is that Darren Cross used the remnants of technology from Pym Industries, before it was renamed cross Technologies, which are essentially made from Pym Particles.
And because only a little of these technological remnants, or Pym Particles, are left—just enough to build one Wasp Suit—only then does it make sense for Hank Pym and others to choose to steal the Wasp Suit.
But this doesn't hold up at all.
In the Ant-Man storyline, Darren Cross plan is based on the ability to mass-produce the Wasp Suit, not to mention, he also established a partnership with Mitchell Carson from Hydra, agreeing to sell the Wasp Suits to Hydra in bulk.
In summary, if Hank Pym and others had not accidentally killed Darren Cross, the ending of the movie wouldn't have been as perfect as portrayed.
During his contemplation, Anton dismisses this subplot.
After all, a movie is just a movie in the real world, the storyline can only serve as a reference, not as gospel.
Indeed, in Anton present reality, the story has already changed.
While the military was initiating action against Mitchell Carson, at the chaotic moment for both Darren Cross and Mitchell Carson, Hope van Dyne beautifully timed her entrance to the Future Lab.
Using her high-level access at cross Technologies, she cracked the code and acquired all the data on the Wasp Suit within the Future Lab.
Of course, this wasn't all Hope did.
After copying the data, Hope casually deleted the data and all backup files before nonchalantly leaving the Future Lab.
She was completely unaware that after she had cracked the code and accessed cross Technologies internal database, all her actions were being monitored online, under the watchful eye of someone.
Moreover, this observer, unnoticed by anyone, copied all the files from Hope portable drive and watched as Hope left through the cameras.
"Ha ha."
Anton sat in his office, a relaxed smile on his face.
"Now, the rest is even easier!"
In a certain area of Manhattan.
Mitchell Carson was on a rooftop, preparing to leave via helicopter.
He glanced at his phone.
The surveillance cameras not only covered this building but also the surrounding area.
Moreover, his forces were already assembled and hidden in various areas, waiting for the enemy to arrive.
Not only the military troops but also the international mercenaries sent by Darren Cross were his targets.
This was his warning to Darren Cross.
"Let go."
After hanging up the call with Darren Cross, Mitchell Carson looked at the helicopter pilot in front of him, gave an order with a calm face.
Having his real identity exposed was indeed a surprise to him.
However, after the battle in Washington and the mass exodus of Hydra members from the US, Mitchell Carson was mentally prepared for today outcome.
As a target of the Justice League, Hydra fear of the Justice League far exceeds that of any country or force in the world.
Especially recently, during the Skrull incident, Superman emergence and his overwhelming presence further instilled fear in Hydra.
Superman power is not something that can be compensated for with mere technology.
Facing an enemy with absolute power, it impossible to consider overpowering them in terms of strength.
Hydra most considered strategy internally has been to disintegrate the enemy from within, a method Hydra is best at.
That brings up another problem.
Their understanding of the Justice League, besides the members that have appeared, is almost non-existent.
Of the Justice League members that have appeared, Hydra is most interested in, needless to say, Batman and Superman.
Batman is the undisputed mastermind, while Superman represents absolute power.
Unfortunately, these two are also the ones Hydra is least likely to touch.
The former is elusive, and the latter is not even on Earth.
And other members, like Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and even Green Arrow, are rarely seen.
As for the rest, those Hydra can access and investigate, like Spider-Man, Venom, Daredevil, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they still seem clueless about the internal workings of the Justice League, only waiting to be summoned by Batman at a critical moment.
Except for Anton.
Anton, as Batman spokesperson and seemingly the only ordinary person in the Justice League, appears to be a perfect target for Hydra to absorb or pull over.
However, Mitchell Carson is well aware that while Anton may seem like the member with the most ordinary abilities in the Justice League, his status now allows him to rally a large number of people at any time to sound the call to arms against Hydra.
Without complete certainty, Hydra would not recklessly move against Anton.
His infiltration in cross Technologies and extending his reach into the military with the Wasp Suit were just tests for Wayne Enterprises and Anton.
Unexpectedly, the probing hand was quickly cut off, thwarting their plans.
Where did it go wrong?
Mitchell Carson pondered continually, thinking he had hidden well, yet he faced failure at the most critical moment of action.
The helicopter propellers spun rapidly, the airflow lifting the helicopter slowly.
However, just as the helicopter was about half a meter off the ground, an arrow shot from a nearby rooftop, slicing through the air and embedding itself precisely in the linkage between the cockpit and the propellers.
Crack crack crack!
The sound of machinery breaking was drowned out by the roar of the propellers.
In the crisis, the severe shaking of the helicopter changed the expressions of the two inside, realizing something was terribly wrong—the helicopter had definitely malfunctioned.
"Land!"
Mitchell Carson commanded the pilot.
Without needing further instruction from Mitchell Carson, the pilot knew he could not maintain flight.
The next moment, the helicopter engine and propellers exploded apart.
The cockpit plummeted harshly from about ten meters above the helipad.
In a critical moment, Mitchell Carson jumped out of the cockpit the pilot, unable to react in time, was dragged out with the cabin by the powerful inertia.
Huffing heavily, Mitchell Carson lay on the helipad, gasping heavily, looking at the helicopter and its pilot plummeting to the ground, his face showing shock but no sympathy for the doomed pilot, rather feeling fortunate.
Lucky he jumped early, otherwise, he would have been doomed.
"Who is it?"
Regaining his senses, this thought flashed through Mitchell Carson mind. His gaze fierce, he quickly scanned around, finally spotting on a building across the street, a man dressed in a green combat suit, wearing a hood, eye mask, and face mask, his cold gaze fixed on him.
Green Arrow!
Mitchell Carson face changed drastically.
Although not one of the strongest members of the Justice League, Green Arrow was still a superhero, and one of the few heroes whose whereabouts were rarely known.
His appearance meant that the Justice League had set their sights on him.
Enduring the severe pain from jumping out of the cabin, Mitchell Carson quickly pulled out his phone from his pocket and pressed the emergency button.
Beep beep beep beep!
Upon hearing the alarm, the subordinates lurking around knew that their boss, Mitchell Carson, was in trouble and quickly rallied.
Among them, some captured the trace of the Green Arrow through the surveillance cameras positioned around Mitchell Carson location.
Their expressions shifted slightly.
Following this, updates from the monitoring personnel brought some relief.
"Apart from Green Arrow, no other superheroes have been detected."
"Military personnel are estimated to arrive at the scene in 7 minutes."
"Darren Cross team of international mercenaries is expected to arrive in 3 minutes."
These updates bolstered their spirits.
As members of Hydra, although their beliefs were twisted, the fervor fueled by their ideology made them much more formidable than regular combatants.
"We don't have much time. Since it only Green Arrow, we have a chance."
"Teams one, two, and three, you go and encircle Green Arrow."
"The rest of you, stay here to monitor and hold off the military and those mercenaries."
Their leader spoke.
As his voice fell, the group sprang into action.
With Hydra understanding of the Justice League, the single-faceted Green Arrow was considered one of the weaker members of the league.
With sufficient numbers and superior equipment, they had the conditions to confront Green Arrow.
After all, Green Arrow wasn't one of the dominant heroes in the Justice League and there was no absolute overpowering force involved.
Once the battle plan was set, teams one, two, and three, three Hydra combat teams, quickly mobilized. They positioned themselves by the windows, aimed at the Green Arrow on the building across, and launched their attack.
Boom!
Boom!
With deafening roars echoing, two bullet were fired from the windows, streaking like lightning towards Green Arrow on the rooftop of the opposite building.
This activity, combined with a helicopter crashing from the sky a minute earlier, changed the expressions of the nearby New Yorkers, fearing a terrorist attack was occurring.
Fortunately, having just recovered from the Battle of New York, Manhattan was not as densely populated as before.
Though there were still many people, each one "battle-hardened" and "experienced," they ran faster than anyone else.
The falling helicopter did not harm the innocent.
The bullet above weren't targeting them, so they didn't cause any other impact.
Of course, the NYPD received the alarm at the first moment.
The special task force launched!
Leading the charge was the Turtle Van, bursting out from the NYPD.
It had been a long time since they had encountered a terrorist attack!
Although it might sound inappropriate, the turtles were somewhat eager for action!
Meanwhile.
Green Arrow was on the rooftop, scouting the surroundings, planning to zip-line over to Mitchell Carson location.
Suddenly, he spotted figures at the windows of the opposite building and a cold smile appeared on his face.
The next second, as he saw the bullet approaching, he calmly drew his bow and arrow, waiting until the bullet were only a few meters away before releasing the bowstring.
An arrow shot through the air.
Under the horrified gazes of the Hydra combat team, the arrow pierced through the two approaching bullet, continuing into the distant sky and then exploding with a boom.
Flames rose.
Following this, the bullet also exploded at that moment.
The flames and thick smoke from the two bullet obscured the vision of the Hydra combat team.
They anxiously watched the rooftop where Green Arrow was positioned.
They knew that such an attack wouldn't harm Green Arrow, but it was certainly not useless.
This was their test.
Soon.
The fire and smoke gradually dissipated.
At the rooftop.
The trace of Green Arrow was lost.
"What?"
"Where did he go?"
"There, on the other building!"
The noisy voices resounded in the ears of the commanding officer, who had locked onto Green Arrow, now swinging like Spider-Man onto another building. He issued orders.
"Continue the attack!"
His tone was firm, his words chillingly cold: "Even if it means destroying the entire building, kill Green Arrow!"
"Understood!"
The remaining people had no doubts about his command.
Hydra itself is seen as a terrorist organization in the eyes of the public, and the sacrifice of innocent people does not affect their hardened hearts.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
bullet burst forth one after another, targeting Green Arrow on the wall of the building.
The innocent civilians in his building, seeing the bullet coming, couldn't help but scream in terror.
Whether the building would collapse if hit by the bullet, they did not know and could not predict.
The only certainty was that they would definitely be killed by the bullet!
At this moment.
Civilians in other locations also witnessed this shocking scene, many of them closing their eyes tightly, dreading to see a tragedy unfold.
At the critical moment, Green Arrow, positioned on the building wall, steadied himself and calmly drew his arrows.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
In the blink of an eye, he fired several arrows.
The bullet came like a meteor shower, densely packed and assaulting swiftly, causing people to feel dizzy and blank.
Some cried out, feeling that their lives were about to end.
At the last moment, one bullet after another, just a dozen meters away from the building wall, was mercilessly pierced by arrows and then exploded violently.
Flames and smoke covered the building.
A moment later.
The people saw that the building was unscathed.
The watching New Yorkers erupted into loud cheers.
These people had originally been indifferent towards Green Arrow.
Indeed, Green Arrow is not the most prominent among the many superheroes in the Justice League.
But now, the scene unfolding before them made them fully realize that although Green Arrow might not stand out, he is still a superhero, still a member of the Justice League.
You can always trust the Justice League.
