Review Me, Please

Several flying swords circled in the sky. Suddenly, they darted down and landed behind Chen Xia. He tested the Blood Ignition Soul Extinguishing Technique on the flying swords and found it somewhat effective, though not particularly potent, possibly because flying swords aren't entirely considered magical techniques. Retrieving the flying swords into his body, Chen Xia flashed back to his small hut. Zhang Daoming asked curiously, "Where did you go?" "Just strolled around," Chen Xia replied casually, sitting on a bench. He wanted to slack off but suddenly paused, his gaze shifting toward the door. A formidable aura rushed in, stopping at the entrance. It barged in, leaving a trail of blood, followed by Bai Jie's frantic voice shouting, "Brother, please save the patriarch!" Chen Xia glanced at him, pulled an orange from his pocket, and handed it to Bai Jie, saying, "Don't rush, take your time. Have an orange first." Bai Jie grabbed the orange, swallowed it whole without chewing, then knelt down and bowed to Chen Xia. "Please save the patriarch, I beg you!" Seeing that Bai Jie didn't even taste the sourness of the orange, Chen Xia realized the situation was urgent and frowned, asking, "What happened to Zhen Hu?" "Kai Xuan Mountain's Elder led people to attack the entire Starry Sky Dan Sect. Many cultivators were killed or injured. The sect is now in disarray. The patriarch couldn't escape and was hung atop the Starry Sky Dan Sect, suffering under heavenly light that burns his divine soul. If we don't rescue him soon, he will perish!" Bai Jie spoke with sorrow and anger. "Kai Xuan Mountain is this ruthless?" Chen Xia asked, puzzled. Originally, Zhen Hu had said he wasn't very afraid of Kai Xuan Mountain, so how could they have wiped out the sect so quickly? Bai Jie gritted his teeth, speaking with grief. "Kai Xuan Mountain's Elder broke through to the sixth level of the Heaven Mending realm, and they also concealed someone at the fifth level. With such combat power, no one in the middle layer of the boundary domain can match them. Other sects dared not help the Starry Sky Dan Sect." "So powerful. How did you escape?" Chen Xia suddenly asked. Bai Jie was stunned, unable to speak. Chen Xia continued, "Knowing I'm the Grand Elder of your sect, a master alchemist, and backed by a Quasi-Emperor, Kai Xuan Mountain still dared to attack? The reason is clear—they want to lure me out. Your escape and coming here for help are all part of their plan." Bai Jie's face turned ashen, realizing Zhen Hu was just bait to catch Chen Xia. Would Chen Xia fall for it? Bai Jie didn't know, but if it were him, he wouldn't risk it. Who would willingly walk into danger? Chen Xia stretched lazily, sighing, "Our relationship isn't that deep; it's more of a mutually beneficial arrangement. Logically, I have no reason to go." Bai Jie's expression darkened, unwilling to accept this but knowing it was true. "But if they targeted the Starry Sky Dan Sect because of me, I can't stand by," Chen Xia suddenly smiled lightly. Apart from Chen Xia, Kai Xuan Mountain had no reason to attack a sect dedicated to alchemy. Even to establish dominance, they should choose a stronger sect. The attack on the Starry Sky Dan Sect was likely due to Chen Xia taking Qin Guan's soul lamp and embarrassing Kai Xuan Mountain during the gathering of ten thousand sects. Bai Jie lifted his head, hopeful, "Really? You're willing to help?" "I'll try, but I can't guarantee saving Zhen Hu," Chen Xia said. Facing a sixth-level and a fifth-level Heaven Mending realm cultivator, Chen Xia wasn't confident he could save Zhen Hu. Fortunately, he had recently mastered the Blood Ignition Soul Extinguishing Technique, giving him some confidence. Otherwise, he'd only have the Past Future Law as his ultimate technique. "Let's go." Chen Xia patted his sleeves, picking up the bag of oranges, adding, "Go early, return early." "Yes, yes." Bai Jie hurriedly stood, leading the way for Chen Xia. "Be careful," Zhang Daoming called out suddenly. Without turning, Chen Xia waved back, smiling. "I'll be back to see you off." "Good!" Zhang Daoming laughed, knowing it was a comforting remark. Chen Xia's figure grew distant, as usual when he left home. Bai Jie led the way anxiously, while Chen Xia walked leisurely, taking out another orange and splitting it with Bai Jie, smiling. "Try this one slowly." Bai Jie took it and tasted it carefully, but showed no reaction, maintaining a normal expression. This puzzled Chen Xia. "Sweet?" he asked. "Sweet!" Bai Jie confirmed. Chen Xia doubted, tasting his half. His expression changed instantly as he spat it out, confused. "You call this sweet?" "Anything you give is sweet," Bai Jie affirmed. "Loyal dogs are truly impressive," Chen Xia nodded. They arrived in the middle layer of the boundary domain, heading straight for the Starry Sky Dan Sect territory. ——— The sky was glaring. Zhen Hu hung at the top, barely breathing, showing signs of impending death. Below, Kai Xuan Mountain's cultivators chattered. "This Zhen Hu used to be so arrogant as a mid-grade Dao pharmacist. Now look at him, what a joke." "Never thought the mighty Zhen Hu would end up like this. Truly a sad sight." Many spectators watched, commenting endlessly. "Crossing Kai Xuan Mountain ends like this—not just Zhen Hu, but anyone in the middle layer." A proud voice suddenly rang out, accompanied by footsteps. Qin Guan sneered at the almost dead Zhen Hu, shaking his head. "Some people won't shed tears until they see the coffin. Unfortunately, once they do, there's no chance to regret." The surrounding cultivators agreed. "Qin Young Master is right." "Yeah, how dare the Starry Sky Dan Sect challenge Kai Xuan Mountain's status! Zhen Hu must have been insane." "Zhen Hu dared to offend Qin Young Master, truly fearless." Qin Guan smiled, enjoying the attention, staring at Zhen Hu. Suddenly, he noticed dense black dots in the sky. Like… Rain? He was puzzled but soon horrified. Not rain, but swords! Sword rain fell from the sky, stacking up into a tower of flying swords. Finally, a figure in green robes stood atop the tower, rolling up his sleeves and laughing at everyone. "Don't just criticize Zhen Hu. Criticize me too."
