What a dreadful day it has been for her, but it has also been an interesting turn of events. Maya sucked in a breath. She felt mentally and emotionally exhausted.

She kept wondering anxiously what if Dalton were another man. Any other man would have believed that video and would have quickly assumed she cheated. Dan, being her former colleague, could have made the situation even worse.
