Alice felt the air in the room grow thicker as she faced Jermin, who now sat upright on the edge of the bed, his piercing gaze fixed on her. The challenge in his eyes was unmistakable, daring her to proceed, but it was the faint smirk curling his lips that unsettled her the most.
"Alright, if you can't control yourself that's your problem" she began, masking her unease with professionalism. She wanted as much as possible not to let this treatment dwaddle until another day "If you want the treatment, we need to start today and now!!."
