Chapter 44: The Morning After

The sun was shining brightly through the windows of the cottage, casting a warm glow over the room. Arthur, Sinja and Lyra were lying in bed, wrapped in each other's arms, and basking in the afterglow of their romantic night.

Lyra and Sinja stirred first, stretching their arms above their heads and yawning. Arthur smiled, watching them with sleepy eyes.

"Good morning," he said, his voice low and husky.

Lyra and Sinja smiled back, their eyes sparkling with love. "Good morning," they replied, snuggling closer to Arthur.

They lay there for a moment, enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Then, Arthur sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed.

"I'm hungry," he said, standing up and stretching his arms above his head.

Lyra and Sinja laughed, throwing a pillow at him. "You're always hungry," they said.

Arthur grinned, catching the pillow and tossing it back at Lyra and Sinja. "That's because I'm a growing king," he said.

Lyra and Sinja giggled, getting out of bed and wrapping her arms around Arthur's waist. "Well, in that case, I'll make you some breakfast," she said.

Arthur smiled, hugging Lyra and Sinja back. "I'd like that," he said.

They walked to the kitchen, hand in hand, and Lyra and Sinja started making breakfast. Arthur sat down at the table, watching them with a smile.

As they ate their breakfast, they talked about their plans for the future. They discussed their ideas for rebuilding the kingdom, and their dreams for their life together.

The morning passed quickly, and soon they were finishing up their breakfast. Arthur stood up, taking Lyra and Sinja's hand and pulling her into his arms.

"I love you," he said, looking into their eyes.

Lyra and Sinja smiled, their eyes sparkling with love. "We love you too," they replied.

They stood there for a moment, holding each other and enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Then, Arthur pulled back and looked at Lyra and Sinja with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Shall we go exploring?" he asked.

Lyra and sinja's eyes lit up with excitement. "I'd love to," she said.

And with that, they set off into the unknown, hand in hand and ready for whatever adventures lay ahead.

As they walked, they came across a beautiful waterfall. The sunlight caught the spray, creating a stunning rainbow that arced across the sky.

Lyra and Sinja gasped in wonder, their eyes shining with delight. "This is beautiful," they said.

Arthur smiled, taking their hand and leading them closer to the waterfall. "I'm glad you two like it," he said.

They stood there for a moment, enjoying the beauty of the waterfall. Then, Arthur turned to Lyra and Sinja with a serious look on his face.

"I have something important to tell you two," he said.

Lyra and Sinja's eyes narrowed slightly, their expression curious. "What is it?" They asked.

Arthur took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. "I want to make you both my queens," he said.

Lyra and Sinja's eyes widened in surprise, and they took a step back. "Arthur, I..." They started to say.

But Arthur interrupted them, his words tumbling out in a rush. "I know it's sudden, but I couldn't imagine ruling without you two by my side. You're my partners, my friends, and my lovers. The both you will be my queens?"

Lyra and sinja's's face was a picture of shock and delight. They he looked like they had been turned upside down and inside out.

And then, a slow smile spread across their faces. "Yes," they said, their voice barely above a whisper. "We will be your queens."

Arthur's face lit up with joy, and he swept Lyra and Sinja into his arms. "I love you both," he said, spinning them around in a circle.

Lyra and Sinja laughed, their eyes shining with happiness. "We love you too," they replied.

And as they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, they knew that their love would conquer all.
