Simple Act of Kindness

The words alone brought forth a cold chill down his spine, like death alone had gripped his neck with its icy fingers.

Despite the nerves within him being wracked, a tinge of excitement flutters through his ribcage.

It's been a long time since he had been challenged like this.

Who would send a note like this to him? Inside a corpse with a bloody skull carved on its chest.

It could be from Blair. He had been looking for her for six years, yet no movements were made from her all this time. Why now?

It doesn't make sense unless he's getting close to her location. It would make sense. Additionally, she's the only one who knows his true identity.

Unless more people know about his true identity that he's unaware of.

Sebastian heard the sounds of high-pitched sirens getting closer, so he shoved the bloody note into his pocket.

He was grateful that he wore dark pants, as the blood on them wouldn't be too obvious.
