Chapter 19

Edgar brought the severed head to Bryce. She was a telekinetic and was also the daughter of the late Professor James, the former leader of the Vampire Mutants.

"Took you guys long enough." Bryce told Edgar and Lucy.

Lucy was a Vampire Mutant with unique attributes. Instead of normal fangs she has metallic ones and used them to suck energy out of hostiles.

Edgar was different from who he was 150 years ago. Now he had a metallic skeleton and thus metallic claws. His healing factor led him to looking 50 when he was in fact more than 150 years old.

All of them were in the Vampire Mutants headquarters or what was left of it. It was not the place it used to be. The war with the cyborgs was dragging on and there had to be a conclusion to it.

Bryce motioned Edgar to lay on the long table in front of her.

He did as instructed. She laid the cyborg's head next to his.

"Using their technology, I will be transporting your consciousness to fifty years ago." Bryce explained.
