The doors thundered shut.
Chains rattled down the walls, sliding into place like a closing jaw.
Edgar’s pulse roared in his ears as the other Sebastian — the twisted copy — smiled across the antechamber.
“Welcome home,” it purred.
Magnet Man reacted first. Metal threads burst from his arms, whipping across the room, cutting down two Black Fangs before they could lift their blades.
Professor unleashed a wave of force from his talisman, slamming into the mirrors, shattering them into a thousand splinters. For a moment, the shadows recoiled.
But only for a moment.
The false Sebastian moved.
Blinding speed — faster than Edgar remembered his real friend ever being.
He was on top of Magnet Man in an instant, a black blade forming from the shadows of his hand, driving toward Magnet Man’s chest.
Magnet Man barely raised his guard in time — metal threads wrapped the blade, sparks showered, the ground cracked beneath their feet.
Edgar leapt in, blade flashing.
