Solving Problems Together

Carla directed her gaze at Henry. Her blue eyes stared intently at the man in front of her. Carla barely blinked at all, she was trying to form the words she wanted to say.

Carla turned her head and reached into the valuable thing she had placed around her waist. Carla took an object that was shiny green with a gold coating. She handed Henry a valuable thing.

“I found this gold-plated green thing on the shore of a lagoon. I had the thought that this didn't belong to the mermaids, but to the pirates,” Carla said, she gave Henry an explanation.

“Can I hold the thing you brought for a moment?” Henry said, he asked Carla.

“Of course. I'll lend it to you for a while,” Carla said, she gave the valuable thing to Henry.
