Chapter 212: Black Storm

As the saying goes, even an elephant can be brought down by enough ants. But in this case, it wasn't ants— it was a stampede of Vibranium-armored rhinos, and the fallen was no elephant. Ant-Man, towering over the battlefield in his massive form, swatted and crushed dozens of the armored beasts, but their relentless numbers finally overwhelmed him.

With a tremendous crash, the giant hero collapsed, sending a cloud of dust skyward.

Steve Rogers stood amidst the chaos, his shield raised and his expression grim as the ground shook beneath him. The thundering stampede continued, unyielding.

Overhead, a Quinjet roared into view, cutting through the haze of dirt and smoke. Several figures leaped from the aircraft, descending swiftly onto the battlefield.

"Hey, Steve! Need a hand?"

The familiar, confident voice belonged to Tony Stark, who landed smoothly in his newest Iron Man armor. Beside him, Vision and Rhodes touched down, their resolve evident.

"Apologies for dragging you into this," T'Challa said to Steve, stepping forward. "This is my fight."

"You're wrong, T'Challa," Steve replied firmly. "This is everyone's fight now."

A deafening roar interrupted their conversation as the Hulk descended from the sky, slamming his fist into an incoming rhino and sending the beast flying. The ground quaked as the massive creature landed, its Vibranium armor dented and its momentum halted.

From Wakanda's lines, Erik Stevens, clad in his own Black Panther armor, laughed mockingly. "Look at this! A ragtag SHIELD remnant, a scattered team of Avengers—pathetic! You've made it easy for me, gathering here all at once. Saves me the trouble of hunting you down."

Behind him, Wakanda's advanced steel-clad army stood ready, their weapons gleaming ominously under the midday sun.

"Erik, listen to reason!" T'Challa shouted, stepping forward. "This is your last chance. Stop this madness before you drag Wakanda into ruin!"

Erik sneered. "Reason? Look around, cousin. I hold all the cards. You're nothing more than a powerless exile." His voice rose, dripping with arrogance. "Who here can stop me?"

Tony Stark's face turned pale as he turned to Friday. "Status report on the outside world—now!"

Friday's voice was grim. "Thirty minutes ago, Wakandan forces launched coordinated strikes on major cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, and London."

Tony felt a cold chill run down his spine. New York, once again, was under siege.

Over the years, New York had endured countless disasters, from the Chitauri invasion to the fallout of Sokovia. Riots had swept the city after the Sokovia Accords, and now, just as stability seemed within reach, Wakandan bombers rained destruction upon the city.

In the skies over New York, Tony's Iron Army—still recovering from Ultron's betrayal—struggled to hold the line. Wakandan bombers, cloaked in advanced stealth technology and armed with Vibranium-enhanced weaponry, overwhelmed the defenses with ruthless efficiency.

The devastation was catastrophic. Vibranium weaponry shredded through buildings, and panic spread like wildfire. Tony's Iron Army, even at its peak, would have been hard-pressed to counter Wakanda's superior technology. Now, barely a third of its original strength, it was retreating in disarray.

Elsewhere, news poured in of coordinated attacks across the globe. Cities in Europe, North America, and beyond—all tied to the legacy of colonialism—became targets of Wakanda's wrath. Even nations that resisted as best they could fell within hours. In one European capital, the nation's flag was torn in half, replaced by a black banner bearing a Vibranium insignia.

The message was clear: Wakanda's vengeance was not merely symbolic—it was an unrelenting force, reshaping the geopolitical order.

Over the battlefield in Wakanda, Tony's mind raced. "This can't go on," he muttered. "If we don't stop this here, there won't be a world left to save."

His gaze swept over the team: Steve's unwavering resolve, Hulk's unbridled fury, Vision's stoic determination, and Rhodes's loyalty.

But they were still outnumbered and outgunned. Behind Erik, the full might of Wakanda's army waited, ready to strike.

From across the field, Erik smirked, watching the Avengers' scattered defenses. "You think you can stop me?" he taunted. "You're too late. The world is already burning."

As the sun dipped lower on the horizon, the battle raged on, a relentless black storm sweeping across the world.
