I needed to apologize but every time I tried to say something, I clammed up.
I made Rowan ride with me at the back to where we were headed. It would be his first time to witness what I do.
So far, he has not spoken to me. Sure, he was polite and answered when I spoke to him but he never went out of his way to start up a conversation.

I guess he was really upset.
I turned to look at him but he was looking out the window, disassociating from me. I opened my mouth to call out to him when my phone broke the silence.
He didn't even move.
I took out the phone from my pockets and frowned at the unknown number, then sighed before accepting it.
"Hello,"
"Alpha Grey," the deep voice said.
I instantly tensed, "Who is this?"
