Soren
When I arrived at the desolate location the voice on the phone had directed me to, I felt a familiar sense of dread settle in my chest. The area was quiet, save for the occasional rustle of the wind through the surrounding trees. It felt like a trap, though I wasn't sure who the real target was, me or my patience.
It just felt like Deja vu from the other night where I was ambushed by Leon. I turned my head everywhere hoping to see a sign of Rowan anywhere.
I don't know how he allowed himself to be captured when he was capable of fighting like a warrior.
All this would have been avoided if he didn't walk out on me like an adolescent child. I knew he had a right to be angry but not to walk out. I wasn't blaming him, seeing as part of the reason why he was captured was because he was angry with me.
