How could he, primordial being of the afterlife, get tricked by a mere human? Not just a mere human, but also earthling, race that was weakest of the twenty realms.

Death realized the extent of his mistake. An earthling had just jumped into the river of the reincarnation, where he definitely didn't belong.

It was too late.

The damage has been done.

The matter was now out of his hands.

Remake of the Martial Arts System, and while the concept stays the same, the story is completely different. A few names, etc, stays the same, but mostly whole new story.

I've wanted to do this for a while, and now I had finally motivation to do it.

Martial Arts Worlds

Standing in a dark hallway, Kiernan waited for the doors to open to the arena. Seeping through the walls, a cheering of the crowd echoed through the corridor.

Coach Jin silently stood behind Kiernan with Sabbath on his right side. The rest of the team stood behind them, trying not to talk as they didn't want to disturb Kiernan's concentration.

Their hearts beat against their chests like drums.

Kiernan placed his right hand against his left hand's fingers and pushed them together to make them crack in a satisfying way.

Without saying a word, he crouched down on the ground and retied his shoes so there wasn't any chance they would loosen during the fight.

At that moment, the door in front of him clicked open, revealing bright light that scared away the darkness of the corridor.

The roaring of the crowd became so loud that he could feel the vibrations in his chest.
