 'It doesn't matter… whether I get it now or later, none of it matters.' Liam replied. 

 He wasn't a human in the first place, and he didn't feel any religious connection to the so called benevolent goddess worshipped in the kingdom.

 After living a life filled with discrimination and bullying, all because he failed to awaken a blessing, a lot of questions started rising within him… doubts about the religion he was born into.

 He felt like he was abandoned by the goddess, ignored despite praying to her countless times, even for just a common rank blessing.

 But then, nothing happened… he didn't even receive a response from her.

 The last few years of his life were spent questioning everything around him.
