A strange neighbour

Rex clenched his jaw as he looked down at the bulge in his pants.

A wave of disgust and frustration crashed over him.

What the hell was wrong with him?

Gnashing his teeth, he tried to will it away, but no matter how hard he focused, it just wouldn't go down.

His hands balled into fists at his sides.

'This is ridiculous.' He thought, gnashing his teeth.

With a deep breath, he turned on his heels and stormed away from the door, his mind a mess of conflicting emotions.

He needed to get out of here.

He needed to clear all these strange thoughts from his mind.

As he walked away, Cynthia shot him a brief glance before shaking her head and disappearing back into her room.

Lela, however, hesitated.

She stood by the doorway, her fingers tightening around the wooden frame as her gaze flickered back toward Liam's door.

Her chest rose and fell in uneven breaths, her cheeks flushed with heat.
