Weak?

Lela struggled to push herself up, but her body refused to move. Pain pulsed through her limbs, her head spinning from the brutal impact.

The beasts were getting closer. Their deep growls rumbled through the air, their red lightning crackling ominously.

She clenched her teeth, trying to force her body to respond. Move… move! she screamed at herself, but nothing happened.

One of the creatures suddenly lunged at her.

Lela's breath hitched.

It was too fast.

The beast's massive body filled her vision, its jaws wide open, fangs glistening as it prepared to tear into her—

But then—

A small golden portal materialized in front of her.

Lela barely had time to process what was happening before a thin golden slash shot out from within.

The attack was so fast it left an afterimage in the air.

The beast didn't even have time to react.

The golden slash tore through its head effortlessly, cleaving it into two equal halves.
