Aria asked Ace softly, "What are you smiling at?" Ace had been smiling at her throughout lunch, making her feel uneasy. "Nothing, or can't I smile at my beloved?" Ace replied, sounding serious.
Aria blushed, finding his cheesy comment endearing. "No, I don't mean that," she said, trying to compose herself. "Then what do you mean?" Ace asked, feigning obliviousness.
Aria looked at him, her face still flushed. "I mean, of course, you can smile at whoever you want. It's just scary when you keep smiling like that." Ace's smile widened, and Aria quickly added, "Hehehe, I mean, I feel goosebumps all over."
Ace chuckled, enjoying her reaction. "Oh, I have no idea. Hmm, are you shy because I keep looking at you?" he asked, leaning in close. Aria's face turned bright red as she quickly turned to face him, but Ace was closer than she expected.
Aria jolted back in surprise, but Ace quickly pulled her chair forward, preventing her from falling. However, Aria ended up falling onto his chest, making her face turn crimson red. The students in the lunchroom gasped in surprise.
Mortified, Aria quickly got up and ran outside. Ace smiled, pleased with the effect he had on her. He got up to chase after her, concerned that she hadn't finished her lunch.
Helena, however, stopped him. "No, don't go looking for her. I'll find her myself." Ace asked why, and Helena explained, "You're a guy; you won't understand. If you go looking for her, she'll feel even more embarrassed."
Manson chimed in, advising Ace not to bully Aria and ruin their relationship. "Girls get shy easily, unlike us boys who think everything we do is normal. You should try to understand her," Manson said.
Ace hummed, realizing he might have taken things too far. He hadn't intended to embarrass Aria, just make her blush.
Meanwhile, Helena searched for Aria everywhere but couldn't find her. She checked the classrooms, toilets, and even the infirmary, but Aria was nowhere to be found.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Helena made her way to her next class, still worried about Aria's whereabouts. She sat in class with a grim expression, occasionally glancing at the door, hoping Aria would walk in.
After class, Helena met Ace in the corridor. "Where's Aria?" he asked, looking concerned. Helena shook her head. "I didn't see her. I looked everywhere, but she's nowhere to be found."
Ace's expression turned serious. "Let's go look for her," he said, and together they searched the school grounds. As they walked, Helena mentioned that she saw one of the girls who had tried to fight Aria earlier.
Ace's eyes darkened, and he quickly followed Helena's gaze. He spotted the girl and quickly dashed after her, catching up to her just as she was about to exit the school.
The girl turned to face him, startled, and Ace smiled innocently. "Hey, why are you looking at me?" he asked, trying to play it cool. The girl stuttered, clearly intimidated, and Ace continued, "Oh, my, you look beautiful. Did you know that?"
The girl's eyes widened, and she looked at Ace in surprise. "Thank you," she said, lowering her eyes. Ace smiled, thinking to himself that she was easily deceived. He needed to keep her talking and find out if she knew anything about Aria's disappearance.
"Wait, I have to tell you something," Ace said, grabbing the girl's attention.
