WĀHID(the beginning)

History repeats itself first as tragedy, second as farce. The end..., what exactly is the end ,the end we have all seen the end of all things.

Daniel felt someone checking him for a pulse , he also heard ambulance sirens so he just assumed that it was the police that was about to take him in . Instinctively he grabbed the person and locked him in an armbar so as to find a way to escape. But when he opened his eyes he realized that he was in a different place than he remembered.

He was still confused when the people around tried to pull him away from the medic. Looking around everything was different, the model of the ambulance, the flag , the uniform of the officers that were there.

Thinking that he was loosing his mind he started moving back cautiously. One of the medics on the scene noticed him trying to move and tried to hold him down. Daniel who was still trying to process everything started screaming " get away from me , don't touch me. " It was then that he felt a slight pain on his head and then memories started flooding into his head . He was so dazed that the medics thought he had a mental breakdown.

Daniel found out that he was no longer in his original body , he had transmigrated into the body of a fourteen year old boy also named Daniel in a parallel earth .

History in this world was almost the same as it was back on his world except for minor differences .

The country he was in was called 'The Republic of Syldavia' and the people were caled Syldavian. They also used a currency called Sint(§).

Daniel had just found out that his father had been killed in the peacekeeping tour that he was deployed on. His father was a soldier and his mother had died during childbirth. He didn't have any siblings either so he was utterly alone.

When the army sent their representatives to deliver the awful news to the Daniel of this earth he was too devastated that he passed out and hit he's head on a wall.

After sometime and being cleared by the medics one of the representative who had the rank of Sergeant started speaking "according to army ordinance 222-H11 your education would be taken care of by the army till after your secondary school, you'll also receive a monthly stipend of five thousand Sint (§5000) every month, you will also be provided with free healthcare till you are eighteen years of age and then you will be given a final §120000 and be forced to vacate army issued lodging which you currently reside.

As the sergeant was talking Daniels brain gear was spinning overtime. The minimum wage for workers in this country is about §30000 a month or §37000 if overtime is added which is §360000 or §440000 a year.

So the money he's receiving was between thirteen to sixteen percent of the minimum wage .

As the sergent was still yapping about how he will only be able to return home during the breaks because he was going to the army boarding school when Daniel interrupted him.

"Excuse me sir, I know the drill there's no need to walk me through it. I'll be ready in a week for the new school year"

"Good someone would come here in a weeks time to to take you to school , and also your father's body is still in the morgue and as per army regulation he can buried in the military cemetery with full..."

"Never mind just cremate the body " Daniel replied curtly to the sergeant

The sergeant the starred at Daniel for a brief second before leaving the house.

Daniel the sighed in relief ' now let's check what valuables this family has '.

He then proceeded to check the house for valuables while checking he made a great vow to himself that since in his previous life he had been fucked over because he followed the rule , in this life he was going to live outside the rules so that people like that CEO will never trample on him again.

Within the space of a week Daniel had sold most of the properties in the house since he won't be needing them anyway. The market value of those items were about 3 million Sint (§3000000) but he sold the for 1.3 million.

The only items remaining in the house was his bed , a table , two chairs, a flat plate , a bowl , a pot , a skillet and some silverware.

Two days before school , Daniel went outside the barracks. In his bag was the 1.3 million he had earned, he then hailed a taxi to take him to the bank. The taxi driver was surprised because Daniel was still a minor but more shocked when Daniel asked him if he would like to make §10000. The deal was to take Daniel in the bank be there to vouch as a legal guardian as he opens a bank account. After the procedure was done Daniel had deposited 1.1million in his account a huge amount of money for even adults.

In Syldavia the cost of living for a family of three was between §60000 to §75000 saints, so Daniel depositing that amount which was about two plus years of an average person's salary was kind of a big deal.

After paying the taxi driver he was left with §190K . It was from this money that he purchased and registered a phone, he also bought some underwear since he was going to be spending at least 3 months without outside contact. After all his shopping he was left with §50k to go home with.

One thing that Daniel resented about his rebirth was that it was in a child's body. As for his body although he had a regular looking body he could still do some exercises to become fit . His main issue with being born in a childs body was the fact that he had to go to school, something that he would much rather skip to do something more productive with his life . But it couldn't be helped.

Daniel the went home to prepare himself for school, he made up his mind that he would use the three years that he had in school to learn about this world and build himself to the top.
