GHOST..

It was Tuesday morning Daniel after a restless night had woken up at about 2 AM and with nothing important to do he had used the sparse wood from broken down furniture lying around in the hostel to create something like a hidden grove in his wardrobe. It was to be used to store his goods.

The time was now 6:45 Am, Daniel was in the dining area and and he was glancing around looking for some one and then finally saw the person.

The targets name was Janet and she was in SS 3 her father was also a Colonel in the army so that made her one of the most popular girls in school, all the girls wanted to be her friend and all the boys wanted to date her . In every aspect she was perfect and beautiful but Daniel knew something about girls like that, they longed for excitement. And in this school where where there was little to no excitement she had employed a much more sinister way of entertainment. She amused herself by bullying her juniors subtly and sometimes physically beating them up.

Daniel had no reputation in the school and what better way to gain reputation than to control the queen bee of the school. It could have been hard if Daniel was an awkward kid but although he was relatively quiet not making noise in class or socializing generally he carried himself with confidence, always keeping eye contact when talking to someone and also keeping a good hygiene.

He motioned for a junior boy to come over to his table. When the boy came over , he put his hand into his school bag and fished out a paper bag . In the bag were two bars of chocolate and some other sweets . He told the boy to go give it to Janet . The boy was shocked and hesitated but Daniel impatient growled at the boy " are you going to go or should I mess up your uniform this morning"

The boy then scampered away to the other side of the dining where Janet was eating and chatting. While giving the package to her he pointed to Daniel sitting across the hall . Daniel then made eye contact with Janet and started walking towards where she was and Janet thinking that Daniel was trying to approach her in the dining had already crossed her arms in preparation of berating him but Daniel just glanced at her and then passed her table and walked towards the door paying her no mind Janet already with her mouth open had already prepared her insults but it was now stuck in her throat.

Daniel while walking towards the assembly grounds remembered a saying from Julius Caesar " if you must break the law do it to seize power: in other cases obey it". Daniel had been obedient over time now was time for him to break the law and seize power.

During the afternoon break while Daniel was in the class going over some notes Janet walked in with a classic mean girl vibe with two other girls " who is Daniel in this class ?"

The whole class was as silent as a grave yard. Before she could repeat herself Daniel put away his book , stood up and walked to her " I'm Daniel let's take a walk" he said and without waiting for her to reply he walked out of the classroom and Janet followed behind admist whispers in the class . Everyone were wondering what Daniel had done to provoke Janet.

After walking a little distance away from the classroom area Daniel paused and waited for Janet to catch up to him .

Janet already visibly angry grabbed his shirt and shouted "do you not realize that I'm your senior"

"I know" Daniel replied prying away her hand from his shirt "that's why I'm meeting with you personally

"So what was that about, are you trying to ask me out?" Janet said crossing her arms across her chest her eyes already gleaming with anticipation and in readiness to reject and turn Daniel down. A classic move used by "popular girls " to feel good about themselves.

"What's with you girls and asking out , you're still a child. I want us to make money together so if you're interested tell your friends to give us some privacy " Daniel replied shocking everyone present after all there was nobody in the school who didn't want her even staff sometimes gazed at Janet lecherously.

After sometime of hesitating she asked her friends to give them some space. "So what is it?"

"I have cigarettes, chocolate bars and candy for sale and I want you to use your junior girls to move it for me". Daniel replied

"Shouldn't I report you...."Janet said before Daniel cut her off

" Think of how much more people would fawn over you when they realize that you are able to satisfy most of their cravings. So are you going to do it for 10% of the entire profit and I'll pay your girls as long as they offer discretion "

Whether it was the intense look that Daniel was giving her or that he wasn't afraid of fawning over her that caused it but Janet caved in immediately.

Daniel then brought out another paper bag from his school bag , in this bag there were 3packs of cigarettes to be sold at §2 per stick .

There were also chocolate bars to be sold at §100 per bar and 100 pieces of candy to be sold at 3 for §10.

He then handed her one of the prepaid phones to be used for a communication. As Janet had accepted the items she was also liable if ever she was caught.

Daniel formed this plan so that Janet would be the main risk taker for the business but he hiding in the shadows would still gain more profits. He wanted it in a way that he could not be identified by anyone as the brains behind the operation, he wanted to be a ghost.
