Over the course of two days , they was a serious change in Aines. For the first time in decades Councilman Anas position as the Sol' district Councilman was being contested .

Catherine Graham had announced that she was running for the position as an independent candidate without support of any political party. She based her campaign on providing jobs , education and the development of Sol'. The provision of jobs was still underway, but the development was a fast work in progress.

Daniel had reconstructed up to fifty apartment buildings, changing them into two bedroom condos. He had also formed a new department under Balerion Acquisitions, Balerion real estate. This was the department responsible for buying up properties in Sol' , refurbishing it and then renting it or selling it to the people.

After buying up the abandoned buildings in the first two blocks and repurposing it, the real estate department started offering to exchange people's houses for the new buildings that were being built. Then these houses would then be repaired, upgraded and then sold .

In the process of repurposing buildings , the construction company was also charged with repairing roads and streetlights. Security cameras were being installed on every property to facilitate security and Daniel was planning on assigning new guards there when he hires them.

So far everything has been going well for Catherine's campaign, Daniel had underestimated the will of people move towards a better opportunity.

It seemed like they were all fed up with Anas and his fear mongering.

Daniel was on his way to meet the arms dealer, Joe whom Mike had made contact with . He was only going with two operatives to the meet so as not to put anyone on edge.

The place that they were to meet was a parking lot of an amusement park and the time for the meet was 1 AM, when there was no possibility of passerbys.

Daniel arrived at the location without any hitch and made contact with Joe . Joe mainly smuggled weapons to other countries so this was the first time that he was having business in Syldavia .

Joe was parked in the corner of the lot with a truck towing a forty foot container . Daniel and Mark made contact with Joe and exchanged pleasantries before Joe opened the back of the container, showing them the merchandise which he carried.

There were different weapons in different boxes; there were machine guns both light, heavy and general purpose. There were different kinds of rifles and carbines, automatic shotguns, submachine guns and sidearms of different calibers. Joe also had many high powered snipers, different grenades, grenade launchers ,rocket launchers , body armor ( ceramic, steel and kevlar). He also had night vision googles and scopes and also heat vision googles and scopes.

In all of the time that Daniel had been reborn, this was one of the time that he felt truly happy.

" Do you see anything you like mister" Joe asked as Daniel was scanning through the merchandise

"I'll take everything you've got" Daniel replied to the surprise of Joe. The weapons that were available there were enough to arm a battalion of men.

" Are you sure about that, they're quite expensive " Joe said trying to make sure that he was hearing things right.

Eventually they all agreed on a reasonable price for the weapons and Daniel paid for it.

With this Daniel decided that it was time to go on a recruitment drive.

The next day Daniel registered a new company as a subsidiary of KNEIF incorporated it was called Rome PMC , a private military company.

Daniel was on his way to meet the Major in hope of getting recommended operators signed into the new company.

While in the car Daniel had asked Anna to look into large secluded properties for them to purchase as a base of operations for the PMC. He also asked her to look into various media outlets that were ripe for a takeover so as to further increase Catherine's potential of winning.

Daniel finally arrived at the Majors office and was greeted with open arms. They shared small talk for a while before Daniel brought up the topic of the private military company.

"My boy it was a great idea to bring this to me but there are some things that I can not do as a military officer when I have a superior to avoid court marshalling. Come with me , I believe the commandant is the best person to help you out."

The Major then excused himself and exited the office only to return in about thirty minutes. " The commandant would like to see you now " the Major said, his face not betraying any sort of emotion and then led the way to the commandants office.

Colonel Abrams was the commandant in charge of the command secondary school in Aines.

His career was something of a mystery as he was not originally part of the army education corps. There were rumors that he was part of clandestine operations and that he was given the position as a gift for rest before retirement. But nobody actually knew the real truth.

" The Major told me that you have established a private military company " Colonel Abrams asked while pouring Daniel a drink which he accepted but placed it down on the table without drinking it.

" Yes sir , I've done everything needed to be done the only thing I need is manpower" Daniel replied.

"Yes ... As a former student of ours we are obligated to assist you with anything you need but I want to know the lengths which you are planning on taking your company to."

"Well I plan to begin with simple security gigs , but by the time I'm done centralizing the company structure, then we would focus on government contracts, peace keeping missing and other classified missions."

"Okay, I understand your conviction so what kind of operatives are you looking for?" Colonel Abrams asked becoming much more interested.

" Regular infantry guys , special forces,engineers and flight specialists." Daniel replied.

" Hmm ,I guess it's possible for me to get you at least fifty vets that are highly capable , most of them have served under me ."

Daniel then thanked the Colonel and took his leave.

As the recruiting was going on his objective was now to find a base of operations for the security company and to help Catherine win the upcoming election with minimum effort
