Zerath had finally reached the hidden base, located deep within the heart of the volcano. Even though it was hot, he didn't slow his pace. After all, this was familiar territory. He had made this journey before.
The entrance to the base was concealed in an unconventional and dangerous way. To enter, one needed to jump into the crater of the volcano itself.
The very idea was enough to deter most people—after all, no one in their right mind would willingly leap into what appeared to be molten death below.
Zerath stood at the edge of the crater, glancing around briefly to ensure no one had followed him.
Satisfied that he was alone, he took a deep breath and stepped off the edge, letting gravity pull him downward.
As he fell, the intense heat surrounded him, but he showed no fear. Just as he neared the bottom, a sudden gust of wind erupted beneath him and slowed his landing.
