Aurora wasn't surprised by Veer's answer, as she knew him well enough to know the answer already. In fact, she would have been disappointed if he answered something else.
This was the Veer she knew and loved.
She sighed and asked, "Do you know why I hate you?"
Veer remained silent.
"At least speak now," Aurora turned her head and said.
"It's because I want you to tell me why you hate me," Veer sighed. "I want you to tell me of my mistake. I'm dumb, you know."
In the next moment, Aurora's fist landed on Veer's face, sending him tumbling away. He didn't try to dodge and simply took it on his face. He hoped it was enough to calm Aurora.
As he came to a halt, Aurora landed on top of him as she caught his collar and screamed, "Why did you leave me? Why did you not choose me? Just why? Do you know how much I suffered there all alone?"
"I'm sorry!"
